The Snug

RebeccaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Just what we needed for a night away. The place was immaculate and decorated to a beautiful standard. We walked to the station (around 10 minutes) and went into Bury St Edmunds for the day a great town with plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay with Rosie again.

Large immaculate conversion - The Milking Parlour

ApolenaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had an absolutely fabulous time at the Milking Parlour ❤️ The place was gorgeous, perfect for a couples getaway. We were blessed with brilliant weather, and the positioning of the garden meant we got the best of the sun. Sitting outside with breakfast in the mornings was a proper treat. The hot tub was also a super nice addition; once we got it properly going, we stayed in it from sunset until the night, and were able to spot some constellations as we were far enough away from the light pollution of central Ipswich :) The Milking Parlour itself is super lovely, very airy and fresh design, bright throughout the day, helpful little gadgets around, always a good temp due to underfloor heating. The hosts Marion and Kevin were really friendly, and Charlie was very helpful. We would’ve never left, had we been given the choice, so we will hopefully be back soon instead 🙏

Stable Cottage

NicolaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
My mum and I recently stayed at Jo’s beautiful ‘Stable Cottage’. Jo was incredibly thoughtful, responsive and went above and beyond, even helping us with our luggage when she knew we’d had a long drive and my mum had been unwell. Stable Cottage is even better than the photos. The location is so peaceful, the garden a real oasis of calm. . The whole cottage was so cosy and welcoming. The Bedrooms tastefully decorated with comfy mattresses that encouraged a good night’s rest. The sunsets in the field over the front of the property were magical. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here.

The Nook

SabrinaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Matthew was such a nice and gentle host and even provided a few amenities for us. The check-in was quite easy and we felt very comfortable. There are really beautiful fields behind The Nook and one can enjoy the peace in private as we hardly noticed Matthew even though he lives just next door. We had such a pleasant time and enjoyed ourselves very much!

Annex in pretty village location - pets welcome

Fiona And OliverRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We felt right at home in the Annex and enjoyed lounging around on the cloud like sofas. It’s very spacious, especially downstairs, quiet and private. We like self catering and appreciated having a good kitchen and dining. Upstairs the beds are comfy and the bathroom is modern and sparkly clean. Thorndon is a lovely village, very Suffolk. We woke to wood pigeons and took walks along the quiet roads in the evenings. The Black Horse Inn is highly recommended, the food was very good, the landlord jovial, his staff lovely, the interior is all timber beams. We sat outside and had a delicious lunch. And it’s just round the corner! A five / ten minute walk. Thanks Sarah for your generous welcome, we’d definitely stay again!
