Cottage holiday rentals in Middle Bass Island

We absolutely loved our stay even tho the weather didn’t cooperate. Karen was very friendly and gave good recommendations. The cottage is stunning

We arrived late and left early on our trip cross country, so didn't get to enjoy to beauty of being on this lake, but appreciated the location and the comfortable accomodations.

The cottage was beautifully done! Very clean, loved the decor & thoughtful touches Amazing views of the lake from every room inside including the bedroom, living-room, and kitchen. Pictures don't do a justice! Karen had some excellent recommendations for us and was very friendly and helpful and sweet! This place was top notch and we will stay again!

Cottage in sandusky is a great place to stay and within walking distance of 2 restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. Open lot next to house is great for parking a boat or extra vehicles. House was clean and had plenty of amenities.

We stayed for two nights with our daughter and her fiancé. The hot tub was amazing, and towels for same were waiting. Having a dryer to dry suits and towels was a major plus. Beds were very comfy and lots of seating in living space. Would stay here time and time again!!

This place rocks! Karen and her husband did a phenomenal job of reimagining this space and turning into a destination. All the units are well thought out and furnished with everything you might need. The pool and hot tubs were huge hit with my boys, along with the generous amounts of pool floats available to use. The location is perfect, with one of the best views in all of Catawba. Sipping coffee on the porch swing every morning, as you look out at the lake was bliss. You can sit in the hot tub or on one of the many deck chairs and have a perfect location for the sunset every night. As someone who comes to Catawba frequently -- there is no competition for this place. I wish I could keep it all to my self -- and not tell everyone how good it is, as I fear soon this place will be sold out for the foreseeable future.

The Love Shack by the Track was accurately depicted in the pictures and as described in the write-up! We instantly fell in love the moment we walked into the yard and home. I thought the trains might be an issue, but they were actually rather “peaceful” in a way. The hosts were absolutely phenomenal! They provided clear instructions and detailed recommendations of where to eat and party! We’d definitely return and rent from them again!

This is an amazing place to say if your planning on going to cedar point or just looking for a place to spend the weekend there is a lot to do at the house which was a nice bonus to have on top of it being a 5 minute drive to cedar point

Absolutely loved the house! It was just as described and perfect for our family of 4 and dogs. Very clean, had all the needed amenities, comfy beds, and the perfect size little back yard (making the pups feel at home too!) Great location! Easy to find and a great stay if you are headed to Cedar Point (15 min drive) or the sports complex (10 min drive.) Highly recommend and we will definitely stay again!

We have wanted to visit Pelee Island for a very long time and so for my husband birthday we decided to come! All we were interested in doing was just to chill. The home was so perfect for our stay, Shelley was amazingly accommodating and we highly recommend The Cottage House. We look forward to another time here!

This Old Lake House by Linda was fantastic! The house was very clean, lots of amenities, and Linda was very easy to communicate with. The location was close to the local playground and beach, which was great for our family. We would definitely stay here again!

We were in town for a fishing trip and enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and comfortable with enough parking for the boat and trailer.

Keith made check in easy and straightforward. His cottage is clean, with an open layout. The sun porch is large and gorgeous, facing a nice sandy beach and spectacular views of the lake (there is even a tv and swing on the porch!). The living room is very open, with huge windows facing the lake and beautiful sunlights. It was a very comfortable stay. The set up really makes you feel at home. Even though the cottage is pet-friendly, it is very clean and there is no pet odour! He includes helpful information when you arrive, including a helpful map of the island, marked with the locations of important and recommended places on Pelee. He even has a fun scavenger hunt to help you get to know the cottage and the island! The cottage is in a nice part of the island, near the lighthouse and not far from the snack bars in Scutter. Keith quickly responded to our questions and was available if we had anything to ask. It was an all-around great experience with an excellent host. Thanks Keith!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage near Lakeside and Marblehead! From the moment we walked in, it felt like home — everything was spotless, and the amenities were truly top-notch. You can tell Amber put a lot of care into the space and they genuinely want their guests to enjoy their stay. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process, from booking to check-out. The location is great — close to both Lakeside and downtown Marblehead. While it’s walkable, be aware that you’ll need to use the main road, which can have a fair amount of traffic. We opted to drive and also rented a golf cart from Moke America Ohio, which made getting around super easy (and fun!). We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient spot in the area!

This little cottage was so perfect for our family of 5. The location was great for our visit to Cedar Point. Sitting on the porch watching the birds and the marina was excellent! The little park in the neighborhood was right on the water and my kids enjoyed the little playground. Good times were had by all. 5 stars would rent again.

We had a wonderful stay Everything was so clean and the beds were super comfy. The cottage had absolutely everything we needed as far as an equipped kitchen. The fire pit made for a great night of marshmallow roasting. The deck gave great views of the lake and both sunrise and sunsets were beautiful. We would definitely love to come back , in fact we didn’t want to leave!!

Perfect place for our fishing trip to Lake Eerie! Can’t beat the view from the back deck. Will be back again!

Had a wonderful girls trip to Anne’s cottage. Location was perfect. Close to Pelee Winery and Fish Point. Beautiful cottage with lots of character, open common spaces and a well equipped kitchen. Anne was very helpful and responsive. Great spot!
