Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Midi-Pyrénées

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house in a wonderfully peaceful place. Hélène was most charming and helpful, even arranging our visit to the neighbouring vineyard. The house had all you needed and was spotless. The swimming pool was a real delight too. If we find ourselves near Carcassonne again we would definitely like to return.

What a wonderful experience from start to finish! The amenities, the peace of quiet, the proximity to the Toulouse metro - perfection. Bed is comfy and shower pressure was great.

My husband and I stayed at La Petite Maison for a month and enjoyed living there very much. It’s well located, an easy walk to the Carmes market, with shops and restaurants nearby. It’s very quiet and peaceful, on a pedestrian alley with no traffic noise. The house was comfortable. The bedrooms are a good size, with the master bedroom being spacious. The living room/dining room was plenty big for the two of us, but might feel a little small for larger groups. The kitchen was well-stocked. It’s convenient to have 2 washer/dryer units, as well as an iron and ironing board. There was plenty of hot water for showers. Check-in was simple with the key in the lockbox, and any small issues were handled by the responsive host. Note for Americans: even though the English version of the listing states there are 2 bathrooms, the translation is misleading. In France, “salle de bain” means a sink/shower combination, not what Americans consider a bathroom w/toilet.

Beautiful little well-appointed studio, with its small terrace, the petanque area, the pool... a beautiful place, with lovely hosts, and formidably well organized so that everything is available. The stay was very pleasant, thank you again to Claire and Thierry!

I'll find... let's focus... I'll find... I'll end up finding something to criticize about this accommodation and its hosts, so I don't look like a groupie! The accommodation itself? Incredible. A building with an incredible soul, refurbished inside in perfect harmony with the volumes, and the addition of modern touches in total harmony with the rooms, for absolute comfort. Cleanliness? Absolutely nickel to the last detail. D**n. Let's still look... The location? In the heart of an absolutely beautiful village, where the only noise is the bird concert... or sometimes the passage of a sheep flock! The hosts, then? Kind, attentive and at the same time discreet, proactive to further enhance the stay. With each exchange, we feel real, bright people, and not just "commercially polite". People we'd love to have as neighbors, you know! Well... well, it's impossible to find a weak point... In short: go for it, it's a gem!!

This lovely cottage has been in this family since 1896. It was lovingly restored to keep the old wine-country feel but add every modern amenity. It is extremely clean, well provisioned, and very comfortable. It is also very secure, not isolated, and very quiet. A few kms up the road is our favorite village in all of France, Saint-Emilion, with literally dozens of name vineyards/wineries closeby. Pomerol is next door as well. One of the very best rentals ever - and we have done dozens. We will be back. We love this cottage.

First off, Saint-Cirq Lapopie is one of the most spectacular places in all of France, and Thiery and Maryse’s gite is right in the center of it, with spectacular views of the area. The gite itself was a great home base for us to explore the region, very comfortable and quiet at night. And on top of it all, Thiery and Maryse were always available to answer any questions, responding within a few hours or less, without fail. I highly recommend their place if you’re interested in exploring this beautiful region.

I had a great stay at Thomas' place, which adapted to my schedule. The location of the accommodation is ideal for one or two people who want to discover the pink city by public transport or on foot. As for parking, the spaces are free from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m. the next day and, if you look a little, you can find a space less than 800 m away. I highly recommend this accommodation, I even think I'll book again as soon as the opportunity arises 🙂

Natalyas apartment was perfect for our long weekend away. The location was beautiful with view of the fountain and local shops and metro line near by. Natalya was great with communication and very helpful when discussing check in times and information. We loved how the apartment had everything we needed from crockery (beautiful btw) to shower supplies. Thank you for having us 😊

Agnes is very pleasant and responsive. Arranging and very friendly, these instructions were helpful. The accommodation is well placed, very well equipped and impeccable, question of hygiene and cleanliness. Our stay was perfect!

Very chic apartment with incredible view in a quiet and peaceful location. We enjoyed staying here. Parking at the free lot across the bridge was easy! I would recommend only bringing what you need if your bags are heavy because there are a lot of stairs to get the apartment!

A magical and wonderful experience! We were amazed and blown away by this superb accommodation that incorporates so many elements, details of the saga... We 10000000% recommend the place for Harry Potter fans like us, to do and redo! On the other hand, for the clumsy / disasters like me, be careful because for my part I accidentally broke a small glass that was part of the decor... I feel so bad... but hey, by being very careful there is no reason!

Fantastic, stylish and thoughtfully designed apartment in a brilliant location. We had a sea view from our large balcony with glass walls so we could enjoy it even when sitting down. The kitchen was very well equipped, the shower very powerful , the beds very comfortable and the air con and ceiling fans kept us cool in the 30 degree heat. Julien was a great host, responding quickly to all our queries. And the area is delightful. A long pristine beach just a stone’s throw away, lots of very good restaurants and bars, and attractions like a water park nearby. Perfect!

Philippe was a great host and he sent lots of good recommendations as well as really clear instructions of how to get to the apartment. This was a last minute booking and the apartment was the perfect location for exploring Toulouse and at a very reasonable price!

Great location, right by all the lovely shops and cafes. Apartment easy to access and was safe. Apartment was clean and clutter free, just as the pictures. The host was very proactive and checked in to remind us that we could contact should we need or want anything. Had a fabulous break and would definitely stay again, hopefully be back autumn for another weekend getaway! Parfait!

We had a fantastic stay here for iur trip to Toulouse. The location of the apartment is superb, lots of places nearby to eat and drink, as well as food markets. The hosts were fantastic and very responsive. We would have loved to stay longer and will be back if we can. Thanks Renaud and Mathieu

We had a lovely stay at Lola and Pol’s beautiful home. Such a kind and friendly family. We felt very welcome. Extremely beautiful surroundings.

Our stay at the house was excellent. From the first moment, we were impressed by the impeccable cleanliness and care in every detail. Everything is thoughtfully thought out to make the guest feel comfortable and welcome. We especially want to highlight the treatment received by Pere, who was always kind, close and very attentive. Her hospitality made a difference and made us feel right at home. Without a doubt, a totally recommended experience.

La Monnoye was amazing… the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in - exactly as described. Nathaniel met us on arrival, gave us an orientation to the apartment and the neighborhood/city. The apartment was so lovely. Decorated to perfection, yet not stuffy. It was very comfortable. The bed was good. The in-unit washer and dryer was awesome perk. They left ample supplies, coffee and everything we needed. The neighborhood felt safe, but is outside the most touristy areas of town. One evening there was a good bit of noise from outside, but it was not audible in the bedroom. It was an easy walk to everything we wanted to access. The tram is very close, although we never used it. Uber was able to access the apartment. Highly recommend Nathaniel and Patrice’s apartment.

We stayed at Émilie's for 4 days. We enjoyed the apartment, the big advantages of the location: the quiet neighborhood and the proximity to the city center. The bedroom - cabin is operational for children who are neither too small nor too big! The master bedroom is comfortable, small downside for the size of the double bed that I imagined more spacious (it is a standard size double bed, 140 cm). The kitchen and living room are very well equipped, and Émilie is always responsive! Thank you!

The host is very kind and attentive, was kind enough to arrange the schedule for us because we arrived very late. Clean accommodation and identical to the photos. I recommend it.
