Cabin holiday rentals in Midsund Municipality

We stayed here for our honeymoon and WOW what an amazing place. The views from the cabin are insane, we were snowed in for a few days but the cabin was the perfect place for a few slow days! Ellen-Kristine and Bjørn we're really helpful and quick to respond when we had any questions. They even got a friendly neighbour to check we were ok when the unexpected snow arrived! For outdoor activities the location is perfect, Stranda itself is very quiet, it's a fairly long drive (40mins) for any nice restaurants, but that was fine with us!

We had such a wonderful time at this cabin! It was perfect for our small group of friends. We really enjoyed the breathtaking view while preparing meals in the kitchen, grilling in the gazebo, and relaxing in the hot tub. Hanne and Ole were very hospitable and the communication was excellent before during and after our stay. We hope to all visit again soon!

The place is just perfect - everything fits the photos. The cabin is large, comfortable and well equipped with a great location and a wonderful view of the mountains. Contact with the hosts was always friendly and helpful. The hot tub is still the icing on the cake - we really enjoyed our stay.

A wonderful stay with a fantastic view. A place where you will really come to rest. We rented the boat to sail around the fjord and it was really great! Definitely recommended!

Great, private accommodation where you immediately feel at home. Good starting point for many excursions - the local mountain Melshornet is really highly recommended and can be reached directly from the hut. Siw and Bottolf are super friendly and helpful. Maximum privacy.

My husband and I had the most wonderful trip to the amazing cottage <3, we also ended up extending our stay because it was so beautiful, so 6 amazing days, we will definitely come back :) Everything was perfect. Wow for a place!! We look forward to the next visit there :-) thank you for everything.

We had a wonderful week at the cabin. Lots of snow made the vacation very adventurous but also very cozy. We even saw incredible northern lights! The communication with Sigve was very pleasant as he was very easy to reach. This cabin was perfect for our winter getaway. Thank you so much for the nice week.

Cozy cottage by the sea, tidy and has everything we need

Such a nice cabin with a beautiful view. We stayed as 2 couples and had no problem with the space. Pretty much all you need in the kitchen is available. The check-in and check-out were so smooth and the hosts were super responsive. It was clean and well organized cabin. We enjoyed our stay very much. Definitely recommended for those who plan to stay close to Atlantic road.

A true gem on the seaside! Everything in this place is designed for pleasure and comfort. We only had a day here, but had a great time:) would love to visit Maja’s place again in the future!

I had a great stay at this beautiful cabin! The views were out of this world, magical! Many hiking trails starting right outside the door. The cabin itself is so cute and comes with a gas stove, a fireplace, a radio, lights on batteries. There's a water tank which you can fill up right outside, and the toilet is a 200m walk away but it's definitely clean for an outhouse! Make sure to check if your shoes are waterproof, my hiking boots apparently were not and that makes the walk to the toilet a lot less pleasant😅 Overall 10/10 stay in this beautiful landscape!! Make sure to bring your own map or download the map from norgeskart, and do your research on the hikes beforehand (e.g. Middagshornet is absolutely gorgeous but not for the inexperienced hiker)

This was our second time staying at Liv Marit’s cabin. The first time, we stayed during summer. Coming back in late autumn was a different but equally magical experience! The cabin was very warm with the wood-burning stove, and we had a very cozy and pleasant stay. The scenery was just as beautiful in the cold rain as it was during the summer. Perhaps even more beautiful!

Wonderful view! No matter the weather, from inside and outside. Quiet location, clean, good beds, functional kitchen, nice reception, maybe a little outdated for the price. All in all, however, a recommended stay! For us, it was three beautiful days with Lillian and Knut Eirik.

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin! It was incredibly clean and well maintained, with a very cozy atmosphere that made us feel at home right away. Very nice location – the cottage is located in a beautiful mountain landscape, ideal for both relaxation and nature walks. The hosts were also very helpful and responded quickly to questions. We are a young couple from Washington DC. When looking on Airbnb we found this place and scheduled our WHOLE TRIP around coming here. We looked forward to it for months and it was a breathtaking view, beautiful house, and the kayaking on the lake was a memory we’ll remember forever. Responsive host, easy self-check in, and nice amenities.

We had a wonderful time, the house is a dream and equipped with everything needed. The view is priceless and the key handover worked without any problems. We will remember the peace, the sheep with little lambs right in front of the door and the view of the sea for a long time🥰. I'm sure we'll be back!

Fantastic location, fantastic views, fantastic place to stay!: Very friendly hosts, more than fully equipped cottage with loving details, everything very clean, beautiful view from the large terrace with cozy covered seating area, wonderfully quiet, great trail through the wilderness to Julneset Fort close by. Very cosy clean and well equiped house in great location with amazing views from its large veranda and very friendly and always helpful hosts! :) We simply fall in love with this place. You can do some easy walks and hikes nearby, swim on the lovely beach in Hareid, visit beautiful island Runde and town Allesund and soak great views from the terrace of the house. It is just great place to spend a few days! Highly recommend!

A welcoming home in a beautiful location. We felt right at home from the moment we got there. The views out each window are stunning and we were fortunate to have a perfect viewpoint of the northern lights while we were there. The home is immaculate with everything you need for an inviting and peaceful stay. It is in a location which made day trips to Loen and Geiranger easy to get to or you could stay close to home and head to the many hiking trails right outside the front door. Stian was a perfect host….making sure we had everything we needed and left clear, helpful instructions for the home. We would come back to this Airbnb without hesitation.

Our family of five had such a memorable experience at Marielle’s luxury mountain cabin. It was beautifully appointed - literally straight out of a design magazine - and provided a perfect central location to explore the fjords around Gerainger and beaches of Ålesund. The house was cozy and provided a lot of great activities to keep young kids occupied. Can’t recommend it enough!
