Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Midtown Manhattan

Abi was an exceptional host! The location was ideal, with convenient free street parking. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and unwind.

It was a quiet, clean, and reliable environment. We were comfortable for three days. We had our tea and coffee as if we were in our own home. It’s within walking distance to the metro, so going out and coming back wasn’t a problem. We recommend it to those who want to see New York.

The house is very charming and well preserved. Lovingly decorated with attention to detail. The room had a nice view of the garden. The area is green with many historic buildings and cafes. Jordan is very friendly. I look forward to coming back!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience during my stay at this Airbnb. The place was exactly as described — cozy, clean, and beautifully maintained. The host was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and quick to respond to any questions I had. The location was perfect, close to local attractions and amenities, making it easy to explore the area. The space was well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay (there were even hair styling tools 🙂), and I especially enjoyed the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Very cozy, clean room with a mini-fridge and filtered water. They just put a new memory foam mattress on the bed, which was very comfortable. Stella was quick to respond to messages and very kind and accommodating. It was so nice to come back to this very private and quiet room after a long day out in the city! Within walking distance of several metro stations.

The room is just like the photos, the bathroom is super nice but just consider that since there are other guests and we only have 20 minutes to bathe, the time it takes to fill the tub is almost the same. I was able to use it one day because there were no guests that day. Literally 2 blocks away you take a bus that leaves you at the subway station so that's super convenient since the price is much better. There was no late check-out because they charge by the hour after that, so since my flight was leaving very late, I had to leave early. In general, the place is nice and convenient because of the bus stop and if you can use the tub one day, it's great.

Jian's place is clean, comfortable, and a good value for a short stay. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, the apt is a 15 minute bus ride to downtown Flushing, and 5 minutes by uber from LGA. The neighborhood is quiet, and I felt very safe walking late at night. However you will hear the planes taking off from LGA. Check-in is via a keypad and Jian responds quickly to any questions. There was a glitch at the beginning of the stay which Jian resolved quickly. The nearest subway into Manhattan is from downtown Flushing, so traveling into Manhattan can take 90 minutes, or even longer if returning late at night as the buses from Flushing run less frequently. The bed and linens are comfortable and of good quality, the bathroom has a large step-in shower with great water pressure and instant hot water. Flushing is a great destination for authentic Chinese food with more variety and better prices than Chinatown. I definitely recommend Jian's place.

We really enjoyed our stay - the unit was absolutely perfect for what we needed and acted as the perfect base for all things New York being a one minute walk from the station! Krystal was extremely friendly, responsive and helpful - would highly recommend !

Very nice apartment and extremely clean! Overall, very comfy and well-equipped. The downside (but that´s on us and not Melissa!) was the location. Despite the fact that it´s possible to take the bus to the city center, we experienced this being a bit of a burden. The bus terminal in the center is not very easy to orientate yourself in when being there the first time, also staff has been rather unfriendly and not very willing to help. The bus transport costs 8$ per trip for 2 people. So we paid 16$ every day to commute back and forward between the apartment and the center. As said, we should have informed ourselves better prior to the stay, but we would not book this one again due to the commuting time. Especially during busy times (morning), the trip takes up to 1 hour one way and busses were extremely crowded from time to time with no seat available. We are young and did not mind too much but I would not recommend this for anyone struggling with that. But again, this is on us! :)

5 Stars – Perfect Stay in Little Italy! I had an amazing experience at this Airbnb! The location in Little Italy was absolutely perfect — full of charm, culture, and amazing food just steps away. The space itself was clean, cozy, and exactly as described (if not better!). Everything was well-maintained, and it was clear the host put care into the little details that made the stay comfortable. The bed was super comfortable, and all the amenities I needed were available.

I really enjoyed my time here. I stayed in an Untitled King room, very comfortable, clean and quiet. Hip ambience, cool people.

Mira is a wonderful host. Very helpful and responsive. The location is, for New York, surprisingly quite. Also no noise from the neighbours at all. We always felt safe in the area where the appartment is located. As a matter of fact we were quite happy to walk back from Timesquare to the appartment after midnight. The appartment is well appointed with all the amenities to make it a most comfortable stay. It was excellent value for money! Thank you so much Mira to make us feel so welcome.

Louise's place is very easy to find and access. It is very close to bus stops and metros, and very close to Times Square and Broadway shows. There are several restaurants around. We like the bagel shops right across the street. There is an Amish Market nearby where we can get grocery and food to cook ourselves. The rooms are clean and quiet. Although the apartment is right on the 9th Avenue, we hardly could hear any noise inside the house. It is on the 3rd floor and we were a bit worried about bringing up our luggage but then Louise sent a friend to help us bringing up our stuff when we checked in, and it was at midnight!! We were so comfortable in the house, and had great fun during our trips. I definitely recommend the place.

Stayed here with my young daughter for a special Daddy trip just us. The place was easy to find and simple to check in. The main entrance off the street is easy to find however in typical NY fashion the door locks require finding just the “right” spot to unlock. Takes some practice. One other side benefit coming back later in the evening there is a local bar where their security guard stands right by the door so you feel very safe coming in at night. The place is well kept and appointed and surprisingly quiet. Everything worked as it should. We really had no complaints at all. If you’re looking for a place in Hells Kitchen this is hard to beat. Easy walking distance to most sites or Subway lines. The local Pizza place on the same block is pretty good too. Thanks for a great trip.

I wish I could’ve stayed longer! This place was exactly like the photos. It was private, clean and exactly what you need for a NYC trip. I’ll be back.

Location Location Location! Very hard to find a neat place to stay on UWS. This apartment has great restaurant selection right at the door step. Either for a cozy dinner or kids crazy morning routine. Keep in mind this is NYC so not elevator access if you need but it was ok for us even with stroller. Overall recommend this place if you budget allows.

Great place to stay while visiting family. As I grew up in the area I know my way around, but easy to get around for anyone! The bay is a beautiful site when you walk up the block. There are many places to visit in walking distance as well as plenty of transportation choices withing walking distance. Plenty of places to eat as well, with many different choices of food. Nice private quite apartment, I will be staying again in the Fall.

This BnB was awesome! My husband and I visited from out of state for an event and this place was in a perfect location. A short walk from Liberty State Park, it was exactly as described. The place itself was beautiful, and the bed was so comfortable. We would absolutely stay again! (:

Staying here was honestly such a dream! I felt right at home the second I stepped in. The place was comfortable, clean and super spacious! Such a wonderful stay will definitely come again! Anthony was an amazing host with fantastic communication.

Our family of 4 stayed 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to the path in 5 min to connect to the NYC subways. On the walk, you pass multiple cafes and coffee shops. Great craft beer and wine shop on the corner. Pizza shop, Basile’s, right next to the PATH is perfect for a late night snack. The beds were comfortable, and even though there was some street noise heard at night, a sound machine was provided to help lull you to sleep. The only thing you have to be aware of is the unit is located on the 2nd floor, and you have to go up a narrow set of stairs which can be hard with multiple suitcases. Other than that, a comfortable and convenient place to stay with everything within walking distance!

We had a great time in the apartment, it was clean and everything we needed was there. Just like in the description. Comfortable bed and couch, great appliances, nice bathroom and everything was in good condition. Really close to public transportation and many restaurants. The ac was great after a hot and busy das in the city, it felt like coming home every evening. Thanks!

Great apartment in a nice area of Hoboken. We used this as a base for our trip to New York so did not spend much time at the place but the location is great, you are close to the station (10-15 minute walk) which takes you to Manhattan Midtown or the Financial District at World Trade Centre. The area in Hoboken is also very nice, you are nearby the Hoboken waterfront which offers great views of Manhattan and an opportunity to slow down from fast pace of Manhattan. Further you are next to Washington Street, which has lots of restaurants and bars, we particularly enjoyed starting the day with Bagels on the Hudson. The apartment itself is spacious, clean and had everything we needed. AJ was always quick to respond for any questions we had. Overall, would recommend.

The view of the NYC skyline was exactly as promised in the pictures. Host was super responsive. The place was within walking distance to bus and ferry to NYC.
