In November 2022, we registered a one-room house (a small, second-hand one-story house with a garden) as a private lodging. This room is also used privately, so there are few business days. It is a quiet residential area, so you can relax and enjoy yourself. This accommodation is not suitable for sightseeing purposes as it is located at a distance from tourist destinations (Aso, Takachiho, etc.) and downtown areas. For sightseeing, it is more convenient to stay in Aso City or in the heart of Kumamoto City. Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the house and on the premises, so you can stay with peace of mind even if you don't like tobacco. The main house is on the same premises, so it's safe for groups of women. It is a convenient place to live near the Yume Mart Obiyan store (supermarket), and is equipped with a washing machine, clothes dryer, fridge, etc., so it is also used for business such as remote work and business trips. If you come by car, you can park in the yard (free of charge). However, the road is narrow and difficult to see, so please ask if you get lost. * Sorry, but pets are not allowed due to hygiene reasons.

We renovated a 160-year-old traditional house in 2023. The total site is 700 tsubo (2300 m ²), and the building is 170 m ², making it very spacious. While it is an 8-minute drive to Kumamoto Castle, it is a cottage where you can relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle. The garden is full of trees and flowers, including a large camphor tree that has been there for over 160 years, black pines, Japanese maples, and bamboo forests, so you can enjoy the trees and flowers in all seasons. The host lives in the adjacent building, so you can feel at home. Take a big, deep breath and refresh yourself from the heart. ●Here’s what you need to know · There are many mosquitoes and insects because there is a garden with many trees. If you don't like insects, it may be difficult to enjoy. The facility is located in a very quiet residential area. Please refrain from having loud conversations in the garden or on the deck after 8 pm.
