We were looking somewhere particularly animal friendly where we could have our pup off leash with plenty of space to roam but also not crowded. This getaway was perfectly suited to our needs. Seeing the deer and even a fox roaming the property was a peaceful experience. The cottage was cozy with many personal touches and had everything we needed. The hosts were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. We could easily get to everywhere we wanted to go. We have no complaints and would highly recommend this getaway. This area is just far enough away from the crowds of Acadia and Bar Harbor but easy access, safe and pleasant. It is also absolutely beautiful.

We had a great stay at this cabin. Suzzane was very responsive and helped us check-into the cabin even though we reached a little late. The cabin was extremely pretty and well maintained and had a well equipped kitchen. The surroundings were beautiful with a quick walk to the waters. We also enjoyed the fireplace. Suzzane and Tom were helpful and sweet. Had a great stay overall.

This was a wonderful weekend getaway. It was an easy 40-minute drive up to Acadia and about 20 minutes to the nearest town with grocery stores and plenty of food to choose from. It was very peaceful and cozy. Becka had all the amenities you'd need and clear instructions. My partner and I had a great time and would stay here again.

Stephen was very cordial and proactive with contact. It was quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view. Stephen did many little extra things to make our stay comfortable. He put the light on, we arrived early evening and he put on the heat for us to take the chill off, as late September is past the typical travel season. He left nice home baked pastries for our morning. It was nice to have a welcoming host and he respected our privacy. My husband and I would recommend.

We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for our first trip to Maine! We were fortunate enough to not have to share the property (there’s another home right beside the cottage) with other guests during our stay so we had the entire ocean front completely to ourselves. This was our first trip alone without our four kids, so it was the perfect place for a couples retreat. The property’s landscape is absolutely gorgeous! The sunrise in the morning and the clear, star filled sky at night were unlike anything we have at home here in the south. The cottage is clean and well maintained. Acadia NP and Bar Harbor are about an hour drive south, and Quoddy Head State Park in Lubec is about an hour north (which we HIGHLY recommend a visit to!) I knew I wanted to see puffins during our trip and we were able to see plenty, plus seals and other birds with Robertsons Tours, which is about 10 minutes away from the cottage. Can’t recommend this cottage enough and we do hope to visit again!!!
