Holiday rentals with a patio in Mill Bay

Nicola’s place was the perfect respite over a busy weekend - tranquil, private, cozy and cool. The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen had everything I needed. Location was also convenient, just steps from amenities and restaurants. Thanks for a great stay, Nicola!

Deanna is a great host very accommodating and responsive. This is our second time staying at her place. Location is perfect to watch our son racing who was participating in Shawnigan regatta. Looking forward to stay here again next year!

Linda and Albert were fantastic hosts - friendly, helpful and respectful. The unit was utterly perfect - stunning view, very comfortable, and well equipped with lots of extra touches to make you feel at home. Gorgeous garden and lots of walking trails within easy access of the property. We loved our stay here, and would return in a heartbeat. Absolutely lovely in every way!

Amazing experience from start to finish. Easy, simple and a property that exceeded our expectations. The view is second to none. The place is very comfortable and well laid out inside and out. Everything was awesome and I’d highly recommend a stay. It wil not disappoint.

The suite was beautiful, everything you need. The pillows on the bed were awesome! The location was excellent as we could walk! Highly recommend!

Place looked like photos and as described. Responsive host who went out of their way to fix a coffee machine that had reached the end of its life. I would stay here again.

Nice place! Garden was amazing. The suite was very cozy and felt like home. Megan was great with responding to us and communicating. Overall we loved our stay. Two minor things to note is the suite above is also an Airbnb so depending on who’s renting that at the time you might experience some noise especially in the bedroom. Other issue is lots of insects and spiders which comes hand in hand with having a nice garden.

Such a Beautiful peaceful location. With Spectacular views!! Any closer to the beach you would be right on it! Super quiet, the pool was great & temperature was perfect! Best of all the walks on the beach!! Highly recommend!!!!!♥️

We had the good fortune to run into Jennifer when we pulled in to check in and had a lovely conversation. Her place is immaculate and the neighbourhood is really nice. We felt very safe in this area. Jennifer gave us some recommendations on where to eat and hike and I must say, the "local" Stoney Hill Trail is not difficult and rewards with spectacular viewpoints. I would say a must see if staying here. The Hand of Man Museum is literally in the neighbourhood and a quirky yet surprisingly comprehensive collection well worth checking out. Lots of eateries and things to do, easy to travel 'down' to Victoria or 'up' to Parksville and beyond. She is a very responsive host and was kind enough to go out and purchase some tower fans for each of the bedrooms when I expressed concern that the week of our visit may be hot. All around 5/5, don't hesitate to book. Thanks Jennifer, it was so nice meeting you!

the place was pristine, beautifully decorated and in the most peaceful, beautiful area! there are beautiful walking the nearby that lead to the beach, suzanne had maps and everything in the suite. Suzanne was extremely responsive and accommodating. We had a wonderful stay!

Julie is a wonderful host! The place is beautiful and exactly as pictured/described. Clean, free of clutter but still with enough furniture to be comfortable. I stayed for an extended period of a month and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Julie was accommodating and an excellent communicator. Very quick responses, and provided us with anything we needed during our stay. Cowichan Bay is a beautiful area and the house is tucked away on a quiet dead end street but still only a short walk to the beach which my children loved. The house was well equipped with everything we needed for an extended stay & was very reasonably priced. The pull down couch was very comfortable as was the bed in the bedroom. Having in suite laundry was also very convenient. Overall would highly recommend! You won't regret your stay in the beautiful Cowichan Valley at Julies oasis!

We had a very comfortable, peaceful stay at Gary’s place. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It was a good base for our day trips and then we were able to relax on the balcony or in the living room. We really enjoyed our stay. There is a nice walking beach close by and Cowichan Bay is an easy drive.

The place was beautiful, both inside and outside of the property. We had a beautiful garden view, and a small patio to enjoy our Breaky in the morning! The place itself was very large, with a beautiful, modern kitchen. The bedrooms were nice, with one looking out/ opening up to the garden. The host left a nice booklet of all the best places to shop and eat — which was actually very helpful!! The parking was very good, and we even had “spare parking” If we needed it. Overall, very good stay, and we will be booking it again.

Josie was a fantastic host. Flexible, responsive, and helpful in providing local recommendations for an area we were new to. The house and property are beautiful, peaceful, and unique. Can't recommend highly enough!

Excellent stay here! Private everything, no shared spaces except driveway. *note: Driveway is Not flat, it's quite slanted/FYI. Kitchen is GREAT if you like cooking, LOVED gas range/gas oven, only missing a Glass dish for oven/chicken/baking. Plenty of utensils, didn't really cook a ton so can't think of anything 'missing' TERRIFIC laundry on-site, just didn't see it at first, it's behind the closet door in the foyer. Shower/bathroom is Great! Has "rain" shower heads over your head, Handy soap/shampoo/conditioner etc on a corner rack so if you forget to bring, no worries ! Counter space is good. Lighting is good. This space was built into the rear space behind garage and butts up to a rock wall at the bedroom/bathroom. Daylight comes through but the only outdoor view is living room/patio. Patio has table and 4 chairs. Only negative would be the dull thud pitter patter of a 3 yr old running around ;-) very understandable, but mostly between 3pm/4pm and 7pm-ish. Overall, a terrific stay!

This is a true gem and an amazing space to stay in while visiting the West Coast and would stay here again over and over. The outdoor space was well designed for privacy and feels like you’re on your own in the great outdoors to enjoy a campfire and the beautiful outdoor tub was spectacular and such a treat. We loved all the extra amenities and the space was very well designed indoors and felt like home.

We had a great stay at Fatbardh’s place. It was comfortable and clean and an enjoyable 3 nights. I love the safety and security of the home. It’s close to my favourite sushi restaurant ever. The shoppers drug mart is nearby, too. You will love your stay here!

We loved our stay here. The location is great, we were able to walk to almost everywhere and there were so many great places to eat within walking distance, it was hard to choose! The building is very secure and safe. The bed was so comfortable, I think I slept better there than at home in my own bed. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying at Kevin's place. The location in downtown was awesome. The views from the deck were stunning and the place was a great size. Kevin was very responsive and helpful during our stay. We look forward to staying here again.

Stunning views and a wonderful space with a delightful garden. We loved it here and did not want to leave. This property has access to the ocean, and a huge deck to watch the ocean and wildlife. The suites are well appointed, clean and spacious. The suites even included binoculars! We would recommend this spot - it was well worth the drive.

Spent 3 nights here and would highly recommend it. Very comfortable, attention to detail. Everything that we needed was here. A fabulous condo in a beautiful location.

Very nice place to send a week, everything you needed was there, really nice kitchen and great view in the back. The pool and hot tub are really nice and the soaking tub in the master bedroom was for real treat.
