Our apartment is located in the countryside on our working farm with sheep and horses on your doorstep. It is a beautiful location only 10 mins from Mullingar and just off the M4 motorway. It is an ideal location to explore westmeath and only 1 hour drive from Dublin airport. We are close to the canal and nice country pubs and restaurants nearby. Or if on business in the area a fantastic place to switch off and escape to country life. Mullingar is a busy town with great shops restaurants & pubs.

19th Century Georgian House and Nature Reserve

We look forward to welcoming you to Ballincard House! Take a step back in time and enjoy the charm of your private apartment located on the second floor of our 19th Century Georgian home. If desired, we are delighted to guide you through the house and share with you almost 200 years of our home's rich history. Roam freely through our 120 acres of gardens, farmland and woodlands, or enjoy a guided tour of our grounds and learn of present day efforts to transform our land into a nature reserve.

Peaceful cabin retreat on animal sanctuary

The cabin is situated at our home and small self funded vegan/vegetarian sanctuary on a hill, nestled in its own small wild nature garden and developing food forest of fruit, nuts and wild edibles. We have developed our whole site into a track system or otherwise known as Paradise paddock. Meet some of our rescue animals. Sit by the campfire and enjoy the views of the surrounding countryside. It's a great place to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Irish Midlands and surrounding counties.

You'll love this romantic escape.Nestled at the end if our garden this beautiful host built cob cottage is cosy and different .The cottage has its own whimsical garden and a wrap around deck where you can relax in the hottub (Feb-nov) overlooking the countryside or cook up a storm on the patio kitchen . The openplan living space inside the cottage is enchanting with the round windows , glass bottle wall ,cob sofas and bespoke oak kitchen and a comfortable double bed .Central heating .

The West Wing

The West Wing is a cosy apartment that sleeps max 3. One double bed and 1 small single in a shared room. Situated directly on the Royal Canal greenway, it is the perfect location for keen walkers or cyclists who want a quiet place to stay. There is a pub across from the house, just a short walk home! The Hill of Down is a handy spot for touring the Boyne Valley and is 20 minutes from Trim, famous for its beautiful castle. It is also 20 minutes from Mullingar in County Westmeath.

Magical gothic 3 bedroom mini-castle.

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.

Drummond Tower / Castle

Victoria Drummond Tower was built as a Folly Tower in the victorian period in 1858 by William Drummond Delap as part of Monasterboice House & Demesne. The tower is regarded as a folly tower built in remembrance of his late mother. Recently restored into a small habitable dwelling and is now available for rental for selected months of the year. A very unique and enjoyable place to stay with a vast range of local & historical amenities at your disposal.

Log Cabin - Coralstown, Westmeath (Self Catering)

A self catering log cabin located in rural Westmeath. Situated 10 minutes from Mullingar town, the M4 motorway, and 60 minutes from Dublin City. This accommodation is ideally located for a daily commuter or a short term visitor who enjoys some peace and quite to relax in the evenings. The Cabin is a purpose built space with a loft bedroom and sofa bed in an open plan studio.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Disconnect from the world in our totally off grid cottage. Sit back & enjoy the peaceful scenic surroundings. Only 45 minutes from M50 junction 6 & 40 minutes from Emerald Park. We have limited Internet access due to cottage being off grid. Wifi is available but dependent on weather & the amount of connections.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway.The Hause sleeps 2 people. Bedroom has a extra large double bed , bathroom with shower and Kitchen- Living Area. Trim Town centre is 5.5 km away . The oldest Norman Castle in Europe can be found in Trim and other sites such as Loughcrew, New Grange, Tara, Dublin City are less than 1 hours drive away.
