Colettes place was exactly what we needed to get away from the city's hustle and bustle. It was so peaceful. There were so many toys my daughter could play with and very child friendly which I appreciate. The place was clean and very neat. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.

Our two families of 9 people had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful and the living spaces were great for our group. Beautiful views from the deck. Darren was incredibly responsive to all needs that arose. Would definitely stay here again!

We were absolutely enchanted. Vanessa has a great decor taste. A lot of attention to detail. In addition, we were very warmly welcomed. The house is equipped with everything you need. We had a very nice week in Vanessa's beautiful house.

We could not ask for a more cozy stay in Cape Town during Autumn. This is the second time we've stayed here, this time for a month and the morning panoramic view and sunlight filling the house each day were enough but the endlessly supplied wood for a small price kept the house cozy all through May. My daughter commented on how nice the air is and so did a few of my guests. It is just so pure up at the foot of the mountain and we enjoyed all that nature had to offer at our doorstep as the mountain and forrest trails are a few steps off the front door. Every space in the house is just perfect. Loved the fact that the "TV room" was totally separate and almost sound proofed from the rest of house. But the Main attraction for me was the kitchen. I loved cooking in there with my family and having the open space flowing into living areas. Truly inspiring for design and functionality. The housekeeper, Ephrahim was also, so helpful and had a smile on his face whenever I saw him.

What a beautiful home, very cosy...definitely a home away from home with a nice selection of Christian reading material. Peaceful and safe neighborhood, we'll be adding this property as one of our favorites for our next stay in Cape Town.

We loved everything about this home and our stay. Debbie and Stuart were so kind and accomodating to us. We could check in earlier as we travelled early for the Two Oceans. Her home is peaceful, spacious, warm and lets light in. We enjoyed the pool and relaxing indoors. The home is kept clean and pristine. The house has everything you need!. Really!!. You think of it and its available in the house. Everything is marked so you can easily find it. Special touches like fruit, milk and bread and spreads in the fridge. The beach nearby (Sunset Beach) was peaceful. Debbie was thoughtful, checking in incase we needed anything. We will be back for sure!!.

We had an amazing stay at Ilse and Dan’s place! They were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The property is absolutely gorgeous, and the three of us, all experienced Airbnb travelers, unanimously agreed it was one of the best we’ve stayed at. The location is perfect, beautifully decorated, and we had no trouble with parking. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and they even let us leave our luggage for a few extra hours after checking out, which was super helpful. Overall, a fantastic experience and we’d definitely love to return and recommend it to friends!

BEAUTIFUL AND LUXURIOUS! Our family was very impressed with this home. Very modern, beautifully decorated, and well equipped. We can’t wait to return. Love all the en-suite bathrooms, beds are comfortable, great space to accommodate larger travel groups. The ocean view from the upper deck was stunning. We almost didn’t want to explore around because we enjoyed the home so much! Walkable to many places, safe, secure, and Odette and Bella were very kind!

It was the second time for us in the location. It has even improved in some details. Everything was perfect.

The space was spotless and looked exactly like the photos, if not better. They went above and beyond to check in and make sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. What a wonderful property. It immediately felt like home. Both my wife and I were also remote working so the little office space was perfect. The kitchen was very well equipped and we enjoyed cooking there. The outside space was just beautiful and all conveniences were a short drive away. We didn't want to leave! It was also spotlessly clean. Sharon was amazing in answering all our questions promptly. We highly recommend this gorgeous hidden gem in Hout Bay.

Safe, tranquil spot - lovely host

Stayed with Ian and Wayne for a month while undergoing a medical procedure. Host could not have been more kind and accommodating. Always asking me if I was comfortable or needed anything. The cottage itself is located on their property, but is very private, nicely decorated and has all the amenities you could ask for. Within a 15 min walk to shops, but to reach the beach you’d need a car. Ubers are also plentiful and cheap. Overall, highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!

We loved this house, clean, tidy and above all beautiful and in such picturesque surroundings. A stones throw from the beach and within walking distance of some great restaurants including the heart and melkies. We were fortunate enough to meet James and his family during the course of our stay. Wonderful and really helpful people. We had a fantastic stay and will no doubt be back again.

I would highly recommend this property, Mark is so friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful with amazing views, it’s well equipped, and is very private. The only regret is we didn’t stay there longer.

5 stars – A perfect Cape Town escape! Our stay on Byron Street was absolutely fantastic! The property was spotless, beautifully styled, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location is ideal—peaceful and secure, yet just minutes away from some of Cape Town’s best attractions, cafes, and beaches. We especially loved waking up to the mountain views and enjoying our morning coffee on the veranda. Our host Cath, was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed. From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. If you’re looking for a stylish, serene base in Cape Town, this is the place. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Elzanne‘s place was perfect for our family of three visiting Cape Town for 5 nights. Our 2 year old enjoyed playing with all the toys available, plus the trampoline and swing set outside. We enjoyed the bbq grill and eating dinner outside most nights with a view of the sunset and pool. The property is very quiet and beds very comfortable. There‘s a huge fridge and freezer and everything you need to cook meals. The house is also beautifully designed so it was a very pleasant stay for us!
