The house of Uronza was built in 1897. It is a traditional house called a Kyomachi house. It was registered as a cultural property in 2007. It is a building that was built more than 125 years ago to match the natural environment, lifestyle habits, and culture. In other words, there are many parts that do not match the modern climate, lifestyle, and way of thinking. By staying in a building that is disappearing, you can see, touch, feel, and think for yourself (including the "good" and "bad" of traditional houses). It is not suitable for those looking for comfortable, convenient, and full service. It is a guest house for those who want to spend their time quietly.
 There are many house rules, unlike regular accommodations.
We are also strict about manners. It is not suitable for those who want to spend time lively or who want to enjoy chatting. There is no air conditioning, as per the concept. Not recommended for those who are sensitive to the summer heat or winter cold. It is preferred by those who want to spend a quiet and calm time. It is run by one person, so there are daily closing hours (12 pm to 4 pm). JR train station is 2.2 km. There is some distance, so I will pick you up at Kyoto Station for free. JR Nishioji Station is 1.2 kilometers away. This inn is a guest house in a 90-year-old Kyomachi house in Kyoto Nishijin. We use this old house, which was once run by a silk merchant, as an accommodation facility in its original form. From the entrance to the street garden, fire bag, back garden, and tsubo garden along the way, they all function as light and wind passageways. The smell of the earth, the smell of the rain, and the smell of Nishi-Jin, pass through with the wind. Close your eyes and enjoy a relaxing time. Enjoy the simple townhouse life.

This Kyo-machiya is a traditional Kyoto architectural style. It is a consecutive style townhouse, a maisonette type terrace house. Whole house charter for you. It is close to schools and universities and is in a safe, relaxed, local area with many families with children and students. It has two bedrooms, a shower , and a full kitchen. Capacity 5 adults. In addition, up to 2 infants who do not require a bed can stay free of charge. Kyoto City accommodation tax is required per person per night.

This is very useful bus stop, you can go directly to ARASHIYAMA , KINKAKUJI-TEMPLE,KIYOMIZU-TEMPLE, JR KYOTO STATION and so on. Our family founded Japanese rice shop in 1894 but I remodeled into hotel this spring. We are living long time here, and I want to keep my family’s business and hospitality mind for hotel work.
