Wan hosted me in April 2025. It's a brand new townhouse in a calm area near Warabi or Nishi-Kawaguchi stations. Very easy and quick commute to Shibuya, Tokyo. House is clean, cozy and located next to small 7Eleven which works 24x7 which is perfect for travelers arriving at night. The house is equipped with everything which is needed for a short or long term staying. Wen communicated very quick and I never waited for a response more than 5-10 mins. Thanks to Wen my vacation passed in a splendid place.

Great place to stay in Tokyo

Really nice and clean place. Host was very responsive and had clear instructions. The location was very close to multiple bus stops which was very convenient. Overall, was very pleased with the accommodations.

The house was stylish, spotless, and very comfortable. The location was great about a 10-minute walk from the train station making it easy to get around. Everything was just as described, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

For Tokyo this place was very roomy for 4 adults. Rooms were clean and comfortable especially the tatami room. The main living space was also very large for Tokyo. It’s in a quiet neighborhood in Ikebukuro and local train station was a 10min walk. Major Ikebukuro station is about a 15min walk and is very busy with lots of malls, shops and eating choices. Familymart is literally around the corner for morning breakfast and coffee. Bigger Familymart is about a 5 min walk. I was a little concerned about location but seriously was not an issue given the proximity of stations. 6min train ride to Shinjuku from Ikebukuro station.

Each time I came to Japan, I will choose this house, beautiful house, really like it!

The owner was very friendly and fast to respond when the AC went out (they mentioned the house is prone to power outages, but we only had that one incident). A great location far enough but close enough to the action of Ikebukuro, and just a block away from a conbini and grocery store. The house was clean and felt quite spacious for four guests, especially with 2 toilets in the house. We wished there were more basic amenities like scissors, salt and pepper, and paper towels. We would love the chance to stay again if we were to visit Japan in the future!

Our family traveled from America to see Niigata, the birth place of a deceased family member. We enjoyed a home visit with several of our Japanese relatives (some of us meeting for the first time) and followed by a delicious Japanese dinner prepared by Chef Koichi at his restaurant, Shinawatei. The Airbnb is just as described. Full size Japanese refrigerator. It’s nice having one toilet downstairs and one toilet upstairs. Super clean and the beds are very comfortable. The young adults slept well on futons. The views look out at the vast Sea of Japan (it’s too early for swimming, but one family member took a quick swim…the water was quite cold, but refreshing). You must witness the gorgeous sunsets. It is a short walk to the beach. We collected shells. There is one parking space in front of the Airbnb that is easily accessible. We will stay again, hopefully soon!

We LOVED our stay at Asami's house. There are many walkable restaurants and access to the train is fantastically easy. The home fit our family's needs perfectly, with room for our teens upstairs and comfortable bedrooms downstairs, too. The kitchen/living level was an excellent place to gather after a long day of exploring and we felt right at home. Everything was as listed and the user handbook was very helpful, too. I cannot recommend this home strongly enough! It is a rare gem, a beautiful home with history and charm. For anyone looking to truly feel like they are unmistakably staying in Japan, book this home! The decor is incredible, including a full set of samurai armor and katana, the doors rooms all have sliding doors maintaining the history of the home, and the shower room is a traditional wet room with a large soaking tub. The location is great, with a Family Mart 100 feet from your front door, yet being in a residential area there is very, very little vehicle traffic and you will most often see people walking around their neighborhood talking or coming to/from work. The walk to the train station is a quiet look into life in Tokyo that you just won’t get staying in a hotel or in the heart of the Shinjuku/Shibuya cities. 10/10, incredible experience staying here!

It was a pleasure staying at the house. So close to train station. The host responded quickly when we had questions. The house is fully equipped with kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, 2 baths and 3 toilets which worked out well for our family of 7. No transfer needed coming to/from Haneda to Kesei Hikifune which was great especially with many luggages. Grocery store and pharmacy is right at the east exit. Ito Yokaido mall has a big 7-11 grocery store on 1st floor, check it out, much better food offerings and cheaper. Overall it was a great stay and will definitely stay her place for our next trip to Tokyo. Thank you!

Beautiful immaculate home! Very responsive host. The pool was warm and inviting. The house was extremely comfortable, and we had a wonderful stay!! We loved that Lawson's was right next door. Five star stay!

The building was nice as pictured.The room was spacious and clean.There are also 3 bedrooms, so a large number of adults can stay comfortably. There was a problem with the sauna not heating up, but when I contacted them, they immediately told me how to fix it.Thank you very much.

The facilities were well-equipped and spacious, making it perfect for large groups.

It was a clean and rich facility. The check-in time was also considered, and it was a small length of stay, but I enjoyed it to the fullest. They also responded politely and quickly. In that regard, I was able to stay with peace of mind. It's for a family of four. It was a smaller number of people than the capacity. I think it would be quite good value for money if it was for 6 people. It's a high season to get into the ocean. It may be difficult to book. When it's time to go to the ocean or pool I want to use it again.

Amazing Airbnb with pool and sauna. Super private and quiet area. Beautiful typical Japanese interior with a luxury touch. The host is very friendly and communication was easy. We would love to come visit again.
