We had a great time at Hanno's place. The village is nice with two tiny supermarkets around the corner. A 5 minutes walk to the main road but also a possibility to put the car in front of the house. The beds where very good and it was amazingly quiet in the night so we slept very well. It is also nice to walk from the house along the cost to the next village Lira, where you find a beautiful beach. Anyway, we will go there again. Antonia and Jacob

Unique roomy apartment with private yard, well equipped kitchen, extremely quiet and dark for sleeping. The lower level was more comfortable after running the dehumidifier because of the large stone wall foundations. This gives it character and coolness. We even played one of the games provided. Very thoughtful hosts.

Ana's house in Vila Nova de Gaia was ideal for me. It is in a very peaceful location, but close to public transport and a very short walk to the river. It was recently refurbished and it shows. The kitchen has everything you need, fast internet in case you have to work from here, and plenty of sunshine in the outside space, as well as a stunning view of the Mosteiro da Serra do Pilar on the "first floor" balcony. Ana was responsive and always helped when needed. I highly recommend this house if you are looking to visit Porto for a short or long period, however you want to stay somewhere peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of Porto.

Beautiful apartment with plenty of space. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this location. The host was friendly and forthcoming. The house was clean and fully equipped. Fortunately there were heaters all over the place, so even during our winter stay, we stayed warm and cozy.

La estadía fue muy agradable, la casa se encuentra a pocos minutos del centro de la Ciudad de Apulia, zona tranquila ideal para ir a desconectar. En mi caso fuimos una familia y quedamos encantados tanto con la casa como con el lugar, limpio, ordenado, con todos los accesorios para que te sientas como en casa. Mención aparte para la amabilidad de Fernando que me asesoró y recomendó como llegar al lugar y como acceder más fácil a la zona de la vivienda, sin duda volveré encantada cuando esté por allí! 👌🏽👏🏽

Proximity to the Douro River with views up and down the valley and outdoor spaces including the wonderful swimming pool with great views and barbecue area made for a very relaxing holiday. There is no Aircon but thick granite walls and open shutters allow the natural breeze to keep the house cool even when it's 35C plus outside. I think I left a board game called Genius Square behind and wish it to remain there. have a good if you stay.

João was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. He went above and beyond by treating us to some delicious Port wine and traditional Pastel de Nata — such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel truly at home. The house itself was lovely, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Highly recommend João’s Airbnb for anyone visiting the area! obrigado João

Leocadios place was the perfect spot to stay while walking the Camino de Santiago. It was very clean, easy to find, and perfect location. And without speaking very much English, he was very welcoming, and took exceptional strides to ensure our comfort. Leo even made sure we knew where to walk the next day. Highly recommend!! Irene's townhouse is a lovely place. Spotless clean, very thoughtful designed interior, everything you need is at hand. The communication with Irene was easy and fast. We had a great week and are happy to come again.

A wonderful stay! The place is about half an hour from Porto, easy drive. As expected right on the beach with a view that we can never get tired of. Smooth check in and the place was super clean and comfortable. Beds are comfortable and there are shutters to block the light if you like to sleep in. Noise from board walk doesn't get to the bed rooms. Kitchen was great so easy breakfasts, coffee and reheating food. Great access to beach toys and umbrellas for beach days. The host was very accommodating and responsive which we hugely appreciated. There are lots of lovely restaurants around and we spent a couple days in the city, some in the hills and some enjoying the coast. It's a perfect mix of city break with the beach air. Thank you for an amazing stay, highly recommended.

Marcos was a great host. He greeted us and gave us a personal tour of the apartment. He had provided snacks, beverages and staple cooking ingredients. Very friendly and welcoming. The apartment is beautifully appointed & comfortable and has a pleasant layout - we felt very much at home. It was in a very peaceful, quiet & beautiful neighborhood - we slept very well there. We would highly recommend staying at Marcos' place!

We stayed one night after hiking in the area. The location is perfect and the house is as described. We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it to others who are looking for a quiet stay with lots of nature-related things to do close by.

Our stay at Vânia’s place was wonderful. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Vânia was exceptionally welcoming, helpful, and provided us with great local tips. Communication was quick and efficient, and all our requests were promptly resolved. The location is nice, close to a metro station and just a short ride to downtown. Public parking is also available nearby, so we had no issues parking. Highly recommended!

Wir hatten eine herrliche Woche in Porto. Eine einmalige Gelegeheit in einem von Álvaro Siza Vieira umgebautem Haus zu weilen. Die Aussicht auf die Flussmündung und das Meer ist unvergleichbar.

Dario was very proactive in making sure we did not lack anything or information to get around. Went out of his way to help us find parking which was a bit tricky at first. The apartment is amazing with lots of room and very well located. Loved our stay.

Appartement with the best view! It’s very spacious and well equipped. During our stay the weather wasn’t very good, but because of the beautiful view onto the beach and inlet we still enjoyed every moment of it. The kitchen is well equipped and there were all these kind extras like cookies and beer. We were here during the week when the bar below is closed, but when it opened up on Friday we did have some noise during the evening. But the earplugs are already besides the beds, which made it a lot better. Would recommend this apartment!

La estancia fue perfecta. Nosotros fuimos a pasar un par de días para poder hacer rutas cercanas. La casa es perfecta y con todas las comodidades. Hay un pequeño patio para relajarse y disfrutar las vistas, una barbacoa, dos baños, menaje suficiente, smart TV en el salón y en la habitación y una cama comodísima. Además, se encuentra muy cerca de supermercados y restaurantes, lo que es un plus para el plan que teníamos. Por último, hay un vecino perrete simpatiquísimo que te viene a saludar en tu estancia. Muy recomendable.
