Wonderful thatched cottage in the New Forest

Our recently refurbished family cottage, located in a small village in the midst of the New Forest. Walking distance to a fantastic country pub and direct access to the forest for walking & cycling. Just a few minutes from the famous Furzey Gardens-ten acres of woodland filled with rare and beautiful plants. The house has three spacious bedrooms and sleeps up to six guests. There is a large mature garden & a relaxing conservatory. You'll often see deer grazing in the garden in the early morning.

Our cottage is set in a peaceful corner of the village of Minstead, in the heart of the New Forest. It is a Victorian farmhouse overlooking fields with some beautiful original features and has been in our family for over 60 years. It comfortably sleeps up to 6 people with a large mature garden, perfect for families, friends or even couples. It's so tranquil here, hardly a car goes by, but you will see ponies, donkeys and cows roaming up the lane while the wild forest itself is 10 mins walk away.

Walking and cycle routes (and a popular pub) can be reached in moments, local amenities are within walking distance in the forest’s capital Lyndhurst and sandy beaches are a short drive away. A wonderful habitat for birds, deer, ponies and donkeys. There are many local pubs, restaurants, coffee shops for those valuable lunches and evening meals.

More ponies, cattle, donkeys wander down the lane past the house than cars. An idyllic escape.
