This clean & cozy cabin is a perfect place to relax between enjoying the trails, rivers & local Amish shops. One queen size bed in the loft and a full-size pull out sofa sleeper. 4 seasons firepit out back. A propane grill is also available in the firepit area. Our subdivision is ideally situated among thousands of acres of public land near the beautiful Au Sable River. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and full of nature. Come and enjoy all this beautiful area has to offer, including hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing, trail riding, kayaking, tubing, canoeing, etc. A boat launch for the Au Sable River, an ORV trailhead and DJs Scenic Bar are within a mile of the cabin (in McKinley). Hiking and skiing trails are 10-15 minutes from the cabin.

We have a beautiful built 1000 sq ft Aframe! Recently installed a 100 inch theater system in the livingroom! Cabin is in Lakes of the North, which offers a perfect getaway for the outdoorsman. Side by Side trails! We offer 2 kayaks to use (must transport) cornhole boards & bags, trail riding your UTV/ORV, hiking, rafting at Jordan Valley Outfitter, snowmobiling. & many fine dining restaurants, several ski resorts and short day trips! Additionally, a 90 jet hottub for ultimate relaxation!

Grandma's Getaway! Plenty of room for your trailer

Come and enjoy the peace and beauty of Northern Michigan at Grandma's Getaway! We have lovingly restored the interior of this home and it reminds me of being at Grandma's house. We have preserved many of the original elements and created a welcoming space around them. Enjoy Mio Dam pond, the AuSable River and walking trails during the day. Downstairs walkout basement has concrete log beams & posts, as well as some concrete tree branches. Trails are for quiet travel only, no motors.
