Loved this glamping Tipi as I didn’t have time to set up my own gear due to shows at The nearby Mateel Center. Ana’s property is only 15 min away from that venue, and once I drove there following their instructions (not Google Maps), I was able to return there after the shows without issue. The tent itself was in a private location against trees … the hot sun doesn’t hit the tent until mid-PM, making it a great spot to sleep in with the sounds of nature… butterflies, moths, hummingbirds. I liked that I could pull my car right up to the tent… and they provide outdoor seating and a dining table, as well as a well-equipped camp kitchen. The shower was so cool and well designed. The hot tub was the perfect temperature, and even though it may not seem like it’s private, they did a great job of blocking sight lines to the tub. Will definitely return!

Talk about Northern California paradise, Graeme's place is so beautiful and so relaxing. It is a bit of a drive from the 101 but so worth it for the peace and quiet; slept better than I have in months. Trees forever; well supplied kitchen--you can cook anything as plenty of pots/pans, utensils. Books and games for kids and adults; we had 3 generations with us and everyone hated to leave.

A beautiful spot to land in a rugged landscape. I appreciate how Laura was communicative and present if needed, but gave lots of space for us to enjoy the quiet solitude. I enjoyed a peaceful evening viewing the moon and stars from the soaking tub. It’s a great town, too—really enjoyed the friendly people and delicious food.

What a great time we had!Maureen is such a wonderful host and an absolute gem of a human being. This is a place for animal lovers and lovers of nature. We were greeted by the most friendly cat, dogs and horses I've ever met. The quaint house we stayed in has a view of the horse pasture and is just a short walking distance to a stream with a deep swimming hole. Lots of shade trees and flowering native lilies surround the house. Great kitchen with everything you need to make meals from local ingredients that we bought at the farmers market. We spent a day exploring out past Petrolia to the coast and out to Whitethorn to a well known mill known for its abundance of wood slabs and every configuration and type of local wood you could imagine. Pro-tip, the store also has a cafe that serves up an amazing espresso milk shake! Thank you Maureen, you made our stay so special, we'll never forget your kindness.

Wow! I would live here if I could. 5+++ stars. What a beautiful home in a beautiful place. 100% worth the drive. We loved the comfy beds, gorgeous furnishings, and well stocked kitchen. And the views were stunning. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, watching the hummingbirds, and listening to the sea lions down on the shore. It was the perfect restful retreat for our family of 5.
