A beautiful building restoration combining the modern with the old. Quiet, very clean and comfortable. We had a lovely stay there!

Honestly, nothing to complain about. Madelena is adorable, attentive , very responsive . Helpful. Too bad, can we give him a star, I give him 5 stars even more . Clean house no surprises! And the private pool is the cherry on the cake! Listing is 1000% home . I RECOMMEND YOU 1000% . For 1 first rental on this site, I'm not disappointed, especially since we are not safe from scams! Peaceful, comfortable, beautiful location and countryside.

The welcome is very good, we live in a house shared with all the comforts you need: fitted kitchen, washing machine, etc.

We had a fantastic stay (7 people), the village is very pretty and super peaceful, the houses and equipment are excellent. A great base to explore the region, I would recommend it without hesitation!

We have been three families with children and have really enjoyed our stay. Although it was not very hot outside the children could bathe, and in the outside area play the volleyball. The very complete and hot house,fireplace, barbecue, billiards,...and the village very quiet and close to other areas of interest: Chaves and Braganza. Nano, the person who took care of us, was very kind and explained everything in great detail. Definitely a place to repeat

What an amazing place! Everything about our stay was perfect. The location, the communication with the host, the small touches in the apartment when we arrived, the magnificent view, the pool, the comfortable rooms, the cleanliness of the place, the wine, and especially the generosity of the hosts who showed us the facilities where they produce their wines. We had a vacation beyond our expectations and we couldn't recommend this place more. Thank you so much!

Quite a hike up the hill if you don’t have a car, just bear that in mind. Also if you’re going into town to eat, the same applies. However the upside of course is that the views are outstanding. Quiet and tranquil, we were extremely happy with our stay. Great hiking on the doorstep, lots of wine tasting if that’s your thing. One very nice touch was the traditional custard tarts and lovely bread/rolls left outside our door each morning by our host. Very nice touch indeed

What about our visit to Nagoselo do Douro! The space was perfect. This small village and the people who live there are even warmer. Katia was always available for us. We had a puncture and she helped us communicate with the rental company. The people in the village helped us too, in the rain! What about Mrs. Isabel, the lady of the small local market. Smiling, thoughtful, and generous. Unable to leave the village without kissing it before leaving. We enjoyed our stay very much. The Douro region is magical, even in early March!

We loved staying at Vitor’s property. The view from the balcony was absolutely amazing. The apartment was well equipped. Vitor was a lovely host who showed us his wine making business and gave us local recommendations. He also made sure we have candles when the was a long power outage in the whole country and made us feel like he’s giving us extra thought.

A 5 star stay! The apartment is as shown in the photographs... Large spaces, well organized and tidy, I highly recommend the place!

We loved our stay. We are a group of 3 couples and 2 daughters and were surprised by the house, everything was very esteemed, clean and with such a pleasant smell. The house has everything you need, a fully equipped kitchen, several spaces to eat and stay, indoors and outdoors, the pool and the outdoor space are super nice. It is a charming house, old but impeccably restored, we loved the entrance, the wooden staircase, the antique furniture… everything was impeccable. The area is very quiet, with a tiny grocery store, but with a little bit of everything and very nice people, bread at the door. We loved the surrounding area, Elisa pointed us to a river beach that is simply magnificent for its peace, tranquility and such good water. In short, it was a wonderful few days, Elisa is a very friendly and helpful host, the house is magnificent and the area is very good. We recommend it and will certainly be back.❤️

Our stay at this place was UNREAL! The views was like something taken from a movie with its hills and scenery. Jose, the host we were in contact with, made the whole stay even better! The wine tour was incredible and informative and having access to the pool during these hot days was incredible. The comments said the pool was private but in the booking it says shared pool. But I imagine the pool is restricted to the ones in the houses, not the camping. Overall, an incredible stay!! Will definitely come back some day!

We can only report in superlatives. If you are looking for something special, you have definitely come to the right place! Esperanza sets the standards very high. Everything we experienced there overwhelmed us, starting with the remarkable cleanliness, the most delicious food we ate on our 14-day trip through Portugal, and the most important factor, the hostess herself. I can't say enough about how incredible this Airbnb was, Carla and her property were so beyond expectations. My family and I felt extremely comfortable there, it is remote but absolutely beautiful. We were not able to use the pool, because the weather was a little bit cold. I jumped in for like 20 minutes and even though it was cold it was very nice. Carla was so communicative the entire time we were there, she made lots of helpful suggestions and helped us to book a tour around the Douro Valley and surrounding areas. She and a friend also cooked us breakfast every morning, which was delicious and helped us to start our day. 10 out of 10, I would absolutely return.

I don't think you could ever tire of the views from Quinta do Fraguil. They're breathtaking - we kept taking just one more photo! It's so special to be able to see so far into the distance and right down to the bottom of the valley. Even the local viewing point didn't match it! From start to finish, Rui was a friendly and really responsive host. He made us feel confident as soon as we had booked that we were going to be staying somewhere special. He turned up to meet us when we arrived and was in really good contact any time we needed to ask him anything before or during our stay. The pool is a total highlight - a good size and really clean. The house itself was also really clean and tastefully furnished. The outside eating area was perfect and made you feel happy to stay 'at home' and cook! We had sunshine every day and warm evenings sitting outside. This is the sort of place that you feel really sad to leave at the end of your holiday and one that you're very likely to visit again.

We had a great and peaceful time at Joao's beautiful stone house up in hills. The deck is absolutely gorgeous to hang out with friends and family. We loved the quietness of place. There are no nearby restaurants so make sure to plan the trip accordingly, otherwise it's awesome place to relax unwind and chill.

The house was absolutely stunning — a true gem nestled in the breathtaking landscape by the river Tua! It was impeccably clean, spotless in every corner, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay. Paula was incredibly responsive and attentive, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. Highly recommend this amazing retreat!
