Gite 10km from Carcassonne in the Montagne Noire

The gite adjoins our house and is situated in a green setting at the foot of the Montagne Noire, just outside a pretty Cathar village. In addition to a large landscaped garden, there is a secure parking space. This 35m2 gîte comprises a lounge, kitchen, shower room and bedroom. The flat has its own entrance leading onto a covered terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue. The gîte stays cool in summer thanks to the vegetation.

This recently renovated house is set in the middle of a 70-hectare organic wine-growing estate, in the Cathar region and close to Carcasonne. It is by a small road that climbs through forest groves that you access this "magical" place where the view of the Ariège Pyrenees is breathtaking! This old sheepfold located at an altitude of 750 m is surrounded by meadows and valleys. The exposed stone on the outside affirms the traditional character of the place.
