Small peaceful haven in the heart of the Lauragais. 1.5 hectares in a quiet location between the Montagne Noire and the Pyrenees, strategically located 5 minutes from Castelnaudary, 35 minutes from Toulouse, 25 minutes from Carcassonne, 1 hour from Narbonne beach and 1 hour 45 minutes from Andorra. Accommodation for 4 people plus a baby, to relax in the sun, visit the pink city or the medieval city of Carcassonne, discover the Cathar country and the surroundings of the Canal du Midi or just taste the famous cassoulet.

Salamander Chalet

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. There is a wood stove for the winter. We deliver a wheelbarrow with firewood for €15.

The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

At the Co cottage / Relaxation area

At the Co gîte, you will find a real private relaxation area with heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna accessible year-round. The accommodation is located in the countryside amidst wheat and sunflower fields, and will offer you calm and serenity. You will find all amenities within 5 minutes by car (grocery store, bakery, butcher shop, post office, supermarket) and many activities nearby (hiking, walking and mountain biking, wake boarding, museum/tourist site visits)

In a natural environment on a wooded plot of 4600 m2. Enjoy a relaxing stopover (bedding and towels provided). Near the Canal du Midi. Canal du Midi bike path 100 m away. Independent studio on the ground floor of our main home. Self check-in possible. Independent entrance. Parking in front of the apartment on our fenced property. Possibility to store bikes. Food, bakery and laundromat open 7 days a week 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. at 800 m.

Stay in the Cottage du Manoir near Lac de la Ganguise (Entire and air-conditioned accommodation). You will find everything you need for your stay (kitchen, bathroom, outdoor areas...). A relaxing weekend or a week of exploring the area? You've found a perfect and comfortable pied-à-terre for any occasion!

Charming house and green paradise

Former mill, the house (the Chayla) is located in a small paradise of greenery. A river that is crossed by a beautiful stone bridge runs through the property. The renovated, bright and warm living rooms open onto superb views of the river or the mountain. The house is large and offers spaces adapted to everyone's needs: 4 bedrooms, but also a living room and library. Come and disconnect at Chayla!

At the foot of the medieval city

At the foot of the ramparts and a somewhat secret staircase leading to the heart of the medieval city, our charming, fully renovated and equipped house is ideal for your family! You will make the most of this wonderful monument and relax in a serene and comfortable place with careful decoration. The 2 bedrooms each have their own bathroom (shower) and a television screen, just like in a hotel.

We have 3 gites at the property. All have a fully equipped kitchen with gas hob and combination/microwave oven, a bathroom and washing machine, TV and WiFi. Bedding and towels are provided. The garden and pool are shared between the gites. Gite No.7 is a two-storey cottage attached to the main house with private entrance, terrace and gas BBQ plancha. Accommodates 2 people in 1 kingsize bed.
