From Mitaka, the Chuo Line reaches Shinjuku in as little as 12 minutes on the Rapid Express (17 on the Rapid). Mitaka is also the Sobu Line’s starting station, so travelers with large luggage can board comfortably from the first stop. Nearby: drugstore 1 min and 7-Eleven 5 min.

From Kichijoji Station near the park, it takes about 15 minutes to Shinjuku. Kichijoji has a high concentration of restaurants such as ramen, gyoza, tempura, tonkatsu, izakaya, JazzBar, and more restaurants than you can visit. You can relax in a Japanese house and park and enjoy the city at the same time!

Mitaka Tiny Apartment #302-Modern Japanese Retreat

We’ve renovated a studio apartment in a popular residential area of Tokyo. Mitaka Station offers direct access to Shinjuku in as little as 13 minutes. Tatami mats and a washi paper shade give the space a warm, distinctly Japanese atmosphere. It has two single beds, a compact kitchen, washing machine, and a supermarket just a 1-minute walk away. Located in a quiet neighborhood, it’s ideal for longer stays and experiencing everyday life in Tokyo like a local while enjoying a relaxed stay.

The second floor is for guests only.

You have exclusive use of the entire second floor. Amenities include a private living room, kitchen, shower (available 24 hours a day), toilet, washer-dryer, refrigerator, and microwave. We accommodate only one group at a time. There are no shared spaces with other guests. The property is a two-story house. The guest area is located on the second floor. 1 bedroom 1 living room The host's living quarters are on the first floor. The entrance is the only shared area; there is no curfew.

SUMIRE AOI HOUSE - Minimal Japanese House

"SUMIRE AOI HOUSE" is a small Japanese house. The basic structure of the house was designed in 1952 by Makoto Masuzawa, a leading architect in Japan. And the house was redesigned by Makoto Koizumi in 1999. I had lived 20 years with my family. The sense of space by the south-facing large windows and the stairwell, it will make you attracted. The area has some parks and fields, and it's leisurely. I can introduce nearby shops. Please spend your time like traveling daily life.

Chofu Fuda: Rent an entire house near stations

Unlike other listings in Tokyo, here, you can rent the whole house. The house is located in western side of Tokyo where have very rich cultural sights. Also it has very good access to metropolitan Tokyo. It takes only a few minutes walk to local stations named Fuda and Chofu. from those stations, Shinjyuku and Shibuya are only about 20minutes ahead . Also you can enjoy walking to the downtown of Chofu where has many places to eat and shop.
