“Such a lovely place to stay. Bryce and Deirdre have thought of everything and the yurt is extremely comfortable. Onsite there are plenty of places to chill if it's a rainy day and of course your at the foot of the galtees with some really super walks all around. We only had time to do the closest looped walk to their home but discovered parts of the galtees woods we had never been to before. Thanks Bryce and Deirdre for a really lovely stay.”

“We had a great weekend at Pats cottage. The description and photos are accurate and the previous reviews gave us a good idea what to expect. We would certainly stay again.”

“The Blacksmith's Cottage is a great place for a getaway in Ireland! It is just what my family wanted to experience an authentic Irish holiday. It is quaint and homey. It was a bit chilly, but the lovely fireplace, extra blankets, and a few space heaters helped keep us warm! (Not to mention the overall coziness of the cottage!) The location is very close to the center of Fermoy and there are a variety of restaurants to choose from. We took day trips to Cork city, Blarney, and Cobh, and all were a beautiful drive. We loved our time in Ireland! Emily met us at the house to give us the keys and tips for traveling around! The house was full of extras like butter, bread, jam, and eggs form their chickens! It was lovely!”
