This is a house that was renovated in 1991 using the beams of a thatched roof house. Why not spend a relaxing time with your family and friends in the plaster-walled living room and 8- and 10-tatami Japanese-style rooms, just like being back in a country house? Looking up at Mt. Asama, kites fly in the wide sky, and the Usuda Space Observatory is nearby, so the air is clean. There are several hot springs, including Fuse Onsen and Nozomi Sunpia, that you can get to by car. You can also go to Karuizawa, Mt. Nobe, and Kiyosato in about an hour by car, so you can climb Mt. Yatsugatake and trek to Myogi Arashina Saku Kogen Quasi-National Park. A rice-growing area comparable to Niigata, and thirteen breweries of local sake made with water from Chikuma that flows from Yatsugatake and Mt. Asama There are "Pinkoro Jizo", "Tomono Castle" and "Nakajima Park" on the walking course. It is a special space in a natural forest, and is an entire building for rent. In the quiet living room, the cozy warmth of the fireplace spreads, and you can enjoy Netflix on the latest Aladdin projector. For relaxing, we recommend warming your body from the core in a sauna that can accommodate up to 7 people, and then cooling off in the outdoor jacuzzi. The large wood deck terrace overlooks nature. Speaking of special experiences, outdoor dining using a gas BBQ grill (for a fee). It's also a luxury to talk around a campfire or read while looking at the forest. There are 3 bedrooms with Simmons mattresses that are very comfortable to sleep on, and the maximum capacity is 10 people. For larger gatherings, the two adjacent buildings can also be used together. IZUMIYA is a newly built, single-family home located about a 7-minute walk from the north exit of Karuizawa Station. The house has 2 units and rents 2 buildings. It is in a good location within walking distance of the popular outlet mall, Kyukaruizawa Ginza, and Unba Pond, and you can also enjoy the beautiful nature unique to Karuizawa. It is very convenient, with a convenience store, supermarket, and delicious restaurants nearby. You can spend a spacious time renting one building, and it is equipped with a kitchen, furniture, and appliances necessary for daily life, so you can stay with your family and friends as if you were living in Karuizawa. Small children are also welcome. We keep the rooms clean and use a professional cleaning service for the towels and linens so that guests can feel at ease. Good access to Shimosuwa Station! We renovated an 80-year-old Japanese house into a traditional and clean space. (New open in 2023!) You can spend a comfortable time by renting the entire building. Recommended for families, couples and small groups. This area is rich in history and nature. Suwa Taisha Shrine, hot springs, Nakasendo. Hiking in the mountains and strolling around Lake Suwa are also recommended ways to spend your time. It's also great to explore the Suwa area on a rental bicycle.
