There is an efficient wood stove, 2 winter sleeping bags (Catharina Defence 6) with associated sheet bags, as well as regular duvets and pillows, blankets/blankets, etc. Fireplace that can be used whenever the weather permits. Nearby bike and pedestrian paths invite you to explore the surrounding towns. Denmark is just a few kilometers away, as is the small town of Tondern. Access is separate from the residential building.

Feel the wings of history when you stay at this over 100-year-old school. Experience the most beautiful sunsets, when the weather permits, in the bright southwest-facing apartment. The area offers a lot of lovely nature, with forests and rivers, as well as lovely eateries. The building also houses a shop, tailor workshop & private residence. I am often at home and of course helpful with whatever you may need. Tønder (13 km), Løgumkloster (4 km) and Wadden Sea/Rømø National Park (35 km) Bike rental available in Ellum.

Cottage with pool

Relax with the whole family in our beautiful cottage. There are 6 rooms with 2 beds in each. In addition, there are 2 extra beds in alcoves in the conservatory. In total, there is room for 14 guests, but we recommend a maximum of 12 adults and possibly 2 children in the extra beds. In the house, there is a pool of approx. 18 m2 and a stylish water spa for 5 people as well as a sauna. 2 bathrooms and kitchen as well as dining area for 12 adults. You can bring 1 dog. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds.

You will be staying close to the Wadden Sea, which is on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Højer is worth a visit with the beautiful old houses and the small streets with sights such as Højer mill, Højer sluse, arts and crafts. The home: Ground floor contains a small kitchen, hallway with stairs to 1st floor, bathroom with shower, 1 bedroom with double bed, dining room, and TV room. TV with the option to cast. 1st floor, small toilet, two bedrooms with double beds. You bring your own bed linen and towels.

PA cozy little house in Møgeltønder with a fantastic view. The house is located near Schackenborg Castle and close to the Marsh Trail, surrounded by beautiful nature. On the ground floor, there is a small kitchen and two cozy living rooms. On the second floor, there are two bedrooms with double beds, one bathroom, and an office. There is one single bed on the second floor, and the sofa in the living room serves as the sixth sleeping space. Bedding rent - 10 Euro each set. Payment cash.

Here you can relax and start excursions to the surrounding area. The house is situated in an idyllic location on the marsh hiking trail. The apartment is located in a half of the house that is separately accessible for guests. It offers a lounge area, a reading corner, a kitchen, 3 double rooms and 3 bathrooms. The hosts live in the other half of the house. In the guest garden you can relax or let off steam on the trampoline. An additional room in the passage area has been added.

Halmhuset - The Straw House

Our thatched house is probably the only "Halmhuset" that is rented as a vacation home in Denmark. It is breathable, made of clay and straw, and is sustainably supplied by heat pump and photovoltaics. In summer, the thick walls provide pleasant coolness, in winter it is cozy and warm, with a room height of up to 4 meters. A real feel-good place for up to 8 people, located at the gates of the city of Tønder, close to the Wadden Sea National Park and the islands of Sylt and Rømø.

Arrive and feel good, time out in North Frisia

Vacation in the North Frisian expanse, right on the Danish border and close to the island and Hallig world, the Wadden Sea, but far away from the tourist hotspots. We live directly on the Wiedaudeich, which belongs to a large nature reserve with a fascinating birdlife and at the same time forms the border with Denmark. Here you can experience the famous sort sol, the black sun, in the spring and autumn, the breathtaking dance of ten thousand starlings in the evening sky.
