Modern Cozy Mountain Home at Powderhorn—Amenities!

SarahRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Perfect location for multi family, multi location reunion as it was just down the street from two of our other homes. Sledding hill was a plus for the non-skiers @ the house. Host response tremendously timely & helpful. Accomodations very comfortable for everyone & appreciated the ample amount of amenities, especially the generous amount of Keurig cups. Overall made our family reunion stellar!

Timeless Mesa Hideaway

JenaseaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had such a lovely stay at this peaceful, clean, Mesa cabin! It felt like our own little private retreat and was so quiet + serene, with beautiful grounds and soft, well-kept grass our pups absolutely loved playing on. The friendly sheep and alpaca were a total highlight 😆 they came right up to us and made the whole experience feel extra special. We walked to dinner one evening, caught a stunning sunset, and ended the night with a cozy campfire and s’mores under the stars. We also took a drive around the Grand Loop, which was breathtaking! Already dreaming about coming back in the fall to see this magical spot in full autumn bloom 🍁 we highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature and charm!

I guess we were all a bit confused as we thought it was more than 2 bedrooms when we initially booked, but regardless it was wonderfully clean and cozy. Keith was very responsive and kind! Thank you!

Chelsie Mesa Cottage 1 minute from PowderHorn Ski.

We enjoyed our summer vacation in the mountains, and Maria’s home was the perfect retreat. The winding 0.4-mile driveway—lined with wildflowers, rocks, birch trees, and grassy banks—led us to a peaceful, secluded home with all the comforts of modern living. Maria included thoughtful touches like snacks, toiletries, and even brought milk. We hiked Mesa Lakes National Park just 5 miles away and also visited Colorado National Monument, 1 hour west. The 23-mile scenic loop there offers spectacular views of mountains, canyons, and rock formations. This spot is perfect for outdoor lovers seeking privacy. As with most mountain getaways, bug spray is a must for hikers. My husband enjoyed a hill workout on the steep driveway, which climbs 154 feet. The spacious kitchen made it easy to prepare meals—bring groceries, as stores are limited nearby. With two private bedrooms, a pull-out couch, and a spotless bathroom, this home made for a comfortable and memorable stay. Highly recommended!

Barb and Dave's place is a new family favorite. The kids loved the animals. Barb and Dave were so kind and helpful and invited the kids to be apart of feeding time. The apartment is lovely! Beautiful views! Comfortable beds! Ac in the rooms made it comfortable. All clean and lovely. We got sick a day into our trip and they were so accommodating and helpful. We will be back!

Mountain Cabin in Grand Mesa/Powderhorn

AlanaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
For a gal's weekend, this was perfect! There were 9 of us, and we appreciated all of the sleeping areas. The open concept for the kitchen and dining room/living room areas was great. We hung out on the deck, cooked, played games, cross country skied and hiked up on the Mesa, and had a wonderful time. Monica's instructions were clear and easy to follow, and she was generous and offered us a late check-out since it was not their busy time of year, and we sooooo appreciated getting to extend our stay by a few hours. We also appreciated that there were some Britta filters that we could use for our water. Gorgeous views!!

Colorado River Getaway in Parachute: Dogs Welcome!

AlyssaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Conveniently located between the Colorado National Monument, beautiful wineries of Palisade, and the many shops and restaurants of Glenwood Springs. The wraparound deck was perfect for enjoying morning coffee and stargazing at night. The house had everything we could want and more while the host was extremely responsive and friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway set in a breathtakingly beautiful setting.

Mountain Ranch Retreat

ElleryRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The perfect serene getaway! My friends and I so enjoyed staying at Curtis's place. It was just as beautiful and peaceful as the pictures indicate, as well as being well-stocked with everything we could possibly need. Make sure you're aware of the fact that there is no AC - it was fine for us but we didn't realize that until we got there. Would definitely stay here again.
