The house is well appointed with everything except for Wi-Fi. A perfect excuse to unplug and relax. Easy, well maintained access road less than 2 miles from the highway. A great home base for many adventures!

The Historic Ranch House

We have intentionally tried to preserve as much of the ranch house as possible while still updating the house to today’s standards. The most notable piece of history is the Monarch cook stove in the kitchen, the doorways and doors that are not as tall as today’s standards, the original wood floor in the master bedroom and original moulding around some of the doors. The house is a 3-bedroom, 1-bath house with all the amenities from home. We hope you enjoy our little piece of ranch history!

This was a perfect spot for me, going through a series of meetings in the area. The home was well maintained and spotless. Everything a traveler might need was provided, and all appliances operated perfectly. The bed was super comfortable, the towels were big and plentiful, plenty of hot water, and small heaters to fend off the morning's chill. The kitchen, while not a full kitchen, did have several different ways to cook meals, and a complete supply of cooking. and eating utensils and dishes, including a drawer full of a wide collection of spices. I've done a fair amount of Airbnb traveling, and Emma had done a great job in providing everything needed for a relaxing and pleasant stay, all of high quality. The neighborhood is mountain pleasant, lots of proud homeowners, all surrounded by snowy peaks and Colorado's unique beauty.

Modern and Spacious Eco Ski Estate

This home has the most exquisite view I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing! We had the thrill of experiencing blizzard-like conditions that whited out the mountains, as well as pristine weather where we could see for miles, all which could be seen through the beautiful large windows on 3 sides of the house. It was also very easy to drive to/from the home, even in the heavy winter conditions. The house was always a comfortable temperature and even during the storms, the Wi-Fi connection was fantastic. Monarch Mountain was excellent for skiing and Salida has some delightful shopping and restaurants. We also enjoyed walks through the snow covered paths around the house, stunning views! Vivian was a good communicator and helped to make an issue we had right. This was truly one of our favorite Airbnbs we have stayed at.

Cozy Hilltop Chalet with 360 views

This cozy house on the west side of Salida sits on the top of a hill in a little mountain neighborhood of Maysville, CO. There are some great hikes nearby, along with some great waterfall views. The neighborhoods and streets around the house are walkable and have some amazing views. The drive to downtown Salida is only ~10-15 minutes and is a great, walkable city with cute shops, restaurants and parks along the riverfront. Andrea's house seemed much larger than what the description states on the AirBnB site, so we had plenty of room, there are some great games that are provided and a great kitchen to cook in with tons of outdoor patio space to enjoy the views. I would definitely stay here again if I were to be in the area.
