Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Mono County

Truly loved this house, well worth the money and the drive. Don’t forget to check out the starry night over the desert, though it might be necessary to bring your own telescope if you want to take any closer looks. Comfortable spacious rooms and all sorts of cool wildlife viewable from the porch.

We had a great time and created some wonderful family memories! Being only a few miles from Yosemite is a definite plus!

We had a wonderful extended stay at Anna's place while in the area for work and would absolutely stay there again. So many nice amenities you don't always see in a rental and we felt right at home. Thank you for being a great host!

Great place. Located inside the park which was helpful. Property came with all the practical amenities- well equipped kitchen, coffee maker dishwasher towels linens blankets, paper towels toilet paper laundry det etc. Also had hot tub which worked great ping pong table and bbq grill with propane. Very clean and well maintained. Quiet location about a mile off the main park road. Perfect place for a family or 2-3 couples (we were 2 adults and 2 adult children). 3 bedrooms 3 full baths. Cleanup was very easy. Host was very responsive. Easy to find and good value (we were at a slightly off peak time so more expensive during peak). Close to chilnualna falls trail - easy walk to trailhead. Only slight downsides are (1)still an hour drive to Yosemite valley and (2) deck is in the front of the house so not private (but quiet area so not a problem). Overall a fantastic choice.

Jeanette’s place was perfect for my family and I. Plenty of room, every thing was clean, and all the amenities were there. Her property is beautiful, we will definitely be back. Jeanette was a very nice and friendly host. 10/10 would recommend!

I really loved Julie’s place, you could tell that they took time and effort to make it a great experience, everything was thought out, I noticed. The location is perfect as well, you have an amazing restaurant literally a few steps away, as well as a grocery store and gas station a block or so away. Only about… I believe 9 mins away from the Mammoth’s Main Lodge, it really has everything you might be looking for.

We had a wonderful stay! The place is cozy, clean, and incredibly convenient. Liz was amazing—very clear with her instructions, responsive, and made everything easy from start to finish. We felt right at home and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Highly recommend!

Theodore was amazing. No host replied this fast! I was looking for a place at the very last minute but he answered all my questions at like 11 pm, and he was so helpful. I really thank him for that. The interior was really outstanding. 💖 Theodore made sure the place was warm and cozy before I checked in. I had places that didn’t really warm up, but this place.. my God. It gets hot lol I actually had to lower and lower the heat to stay warm! Big TV, comfortable bed, plenty of towels, nice indoor jacuzzi & dry sauna! The jacuzzi was like bubble bath.. 🛀 I don’t know what’s in it, but it made my skin so soft. In summary, if this place is available, you gotta grab it. 😎

Mandi & Steve’s place is great! It’s walkable to two grocery stores & many restaurants. It’s quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Access to the hot tub is perfect. PS. If you go to Roberto’s for Mexican food, ask for the flour chips.

Convenient location to town and all the fun outdoors activities in the area. Very comfortable. Liked the books, games, movies and the kitchen was perfect for preparing our own food sometimes. We were tired after hiking, biking and rock climbing and the quiet atmosphere helped us sleep really well.

Heidi’s place is comfortable and had everything I needed for a chill week in Mammoth. The little touches were a nice bonus - lotion, wine, and a robe to go down to the hot tub. The indoor parking and ski locker at garage level is super convenient. It was a great stay!

We loved staying at this location very close to the mountain and restaurants. Super clean and very cozy! Ivana was so kind to turn the heater on prior to our arrival since we got in late. Since we came towards the end of the season, the local lifts were closed but driving up to the mountain and parking was easy. We will def stay at this location again next season

This place was wonderful and in a great location! We were able to walk to The Stove, park and Vons with our littles. Great place for a small family.

Rob was great communicating anything he thought might be an issue and suggesting some items we might want to bring. He also had a list of restaurants and places to visit in the area. We cook a lot so brought a couple of our favorite fry pans and knives but the kitchen was sufficiently stocked if you don't. He gave great directions in finding the place. We loved the jacuzzi and ping pong in the office/rec room. You may want to bring beach towels if you plan to go to some hot springs. Coming in late May we enjoyed having the place mostly to ourselves. Rarely anyone else in the hot tub and no noises around or above us. He had plenty of wood on deck for our fireplace. All & all a great experience.

A wonderful place in a beautiful area! The condo is really cute and comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Our son loved the boardgame collection. Also, we were able to use the pool and jacuzzi, it's a joy after long day hikes!
