Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Monroe County

My family and I had to book last minute with our newborn and we had zero issues! The cabin is beautiful and so peaceful. This home was so fun to stay at and we hope to be back again!

Nice house, pretty wood floors, quiet town and neighborhood. Fresh produce market and a grocery store nearby.

We had an amazing couple days at this Air BnB. Everything was spotless and exactly as described. The view of the WV mountains was better than expected and worth the drive. Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations, and we were sorry we did not book an additional day or two. Everything we needed was provided including K-Cups and firewood. The area is a good place for a wedding or family reunion (large).

Creekside Lodge was beautiful! Didn’t break the bank and absolutely worth every penny. The cabin was spotless. Huge kitchen with coffee supplies, plenty of room for 6 people to relax and enjoy the space. Spotify and netflix were great. Opening the sliding door to the creek was like something out of a dream! So quiet and peaceful!! We had an issue with the downstairs heat but Carlin and the property caretaker were so quick to communicate and get it fixed!! Definitely planning to return! Thanks for a great stay!

What a great deal for such a spacious and private house!! We did not realize how beautiful and nestled in the woods this home would be. We had 8 of us and it didn’t feel crowded at all. Minimal kitchen tools but they had all the basics, we cooked multiple nights and sharing a meal around that table was lovely. We could all lounge in the living room and we even had a campfire. We had a few stink bugs but that is to be expected when you’re out in nature like this. Don brought over a brand new grill the weekend we were there which was wonderful. It is quite a drive from the bulk of the most popular NRG hikes (60-80 min)… but we didn’t mind. We felt like we got an amazing deal for the space we had and every drive was just beautiful. Only 15 min from Hinton which seems like a cute town and had a Kroger. We went on morning walks just right around the property and saw woodpeckers, orioles, deer… and even a bald eagle! Such a treat. Definitely a place to return to!

Cheryl's place was great and there was open communication. The only reason we checked out early was that there is no wifi or cell service. It was totally an oversight on my part and those who are looking to unplug from the world will totally enjoy this place.

Loved the house very cozy and comfortable, we stayed for a family reunion we had near by....lots of things to do within a 30 mile radius. My husband wants to come back and try out the fishing on the Greenbrier River.

Brent's place was probably the best airbnb we have stayed at. It was clean and had just about everything we needed. Unfortunately, it rained our whole stay and we were under a flood warning.. The river was beautiful. The kids tried their best to fish every second they had the chance . The coal mine is about an hour away and was my favorite part of our trip. My only complaint would be the traffic noise behind the house . I'd still come back over and over again :) We had 5 of us which was a bit tight due to the rain and being stuck inside, but the covered outside decks overlooking the river was the perfect place for a family game night every day!

Sweet little cabin on beautiful property with winding creek and fun fire-pit. We stayed in this air b&b for an extended weekend with our family of 6 while in town for a VT football game. Enjoyed watching the deer running around the property. Even saw a bald eagle.

The unplugged Yellowstone was such a beautiful and relaxing quick getaway. We brought our two dogs and they absolutely loved the stream. The cabin was super clean and had everything we needed. Carlin was a very responsive host and so helpful with our last minute requests. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!

Relaxing getaway location. Price for our stay was lower than any hotel in the area and the location has much more to offer than any hotel could. Great place to stay at a great price!

What a great place to stay! Nestled up on a hill with gorgeous views of the beautiful blue ridge mountains. Very comfortable accommodations for up to 12 people in a cozy country setting, complete with farm animals and an onsite cafe serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The space was very neat, clean, cozy and well stocked with necessities you need for your stay. Thanks to the host who was super helpful and friendly and told us everything we needed to know, from check in to check out. The fire pit with comfortable Adirondack chairs completed the setting and was the cherry on top! The whole family thoroughly enjoyed their stay and we plan on coming back in the future. We highly recommend staying here and it’s pet friendly for those whose dogs travel with them. You won’t be disappointed.

The place was absolutely beautiful and relaxing! The entrance can be hard to find the first time around so just drive slow and be on the lookout for the blind driveway. Other than that I highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful get away!

The primitive campsite had enough flat space for two tents and an absolutely beautiful view. The cafe was a nice way to end my trip.

We decided to stay here for the night on our way back home to Indiana. My kids were so excited when we first pulled up and saw the tiny house/cabin. They asked if they could go in before us. I could hear their squels and laughter. The tiny home was absolutely stunning. I loved the open windows and all of the thought that was put into designing the home. There was plenty of space and amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, sponge, hand towels, coffee and even a lighter for starting a fire outside. They have firewood available for purchase but unfortunately it requires cash, which we didn't have. We enjoyed our cabin so much that we chose to eat ramen noodles (that's all we had with us) instead of venturing out in order to maximize all of our time there. We will definitely be staying again and hopefully for longer next time!

The hot tub was very nice. The place was very clean. Close to other cabins. Easy access...no steep hills to climb. The loft ladder didn't make it easy to get upstairs. Kinda pricey compared to other cabins we stayed at. There wasn't any dish soap. No wood included. It was a nice stay. Internet is frontier and i couldn't even use it. I had to use my cell phone data.

Looking forward to booking another stay with four fillies.

Cindy is an amazing host! There are trails to walk the pups, amazing places to go, horses to pet, a hot tub to soak in. Lovely stay, very romantic!

We had a great time staying here! The cabin and area was beautiful and exactly what we needed. Definitely would stay again!
