Beautiful cottage. Great backyard deck. Updated kitchen. It felt like home. I loved the quiet. It was kinda like glamping, surrounded by a camping environment with a beautiful home with all the amenities in the center.

We enjoyed every minute at the lake house. It was peaceful., so beautiful, and just what we needed! EvanWood was kind and quick to reply to any of our questions. If we have an opportunity, we’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

This place was great- actually a lot bigger than we expected. There was a musty smell when we walked in, but thankfully there was Febreeze provided, as well as anything else we needed. We could hear noise from the people and dogs upstairs, but I didn’t mind. I would definitely stay again.

My stay was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. I did not want to leave. Becky’s home is absolutely stunning, more stunning in person. The layout of the home is perfect, the beds are extremely comfortable, the pool, the lake, the sunrise, sunset, kayaks, beautiful sounds of nature, so much to do without having to leave… Becky is wonderful, she is quick to respond at any time, she is kind and ensured I felt right at home. I can’t wait to bring the kids next time!!!

We traveled from Texas, Mississippi, and Georgia to Ruston for my daughter’s graduation, and this guest house was the perfect home base for our close-knit family — including my 18 month niece and daughter’s dog! With a group of eight, we needed a space that offered both comfort and privacy, and this property delivered. The primary suite was especially appreciated by my mom, who enjoyed having her own peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the celebrations. As a bonus, we got to enjoy the live music from a nearby event venue, which added to the festive atmosphere without being disruptive. The home was well-equipped, cozy, and just what we needed to make this special weekend even more memorable. Highly recommend for families looking for a spacious and relaxing stay in Ruston!

Markus, you outdid yourself! We hosted our family reunion meet & greet at your Airbnb and WOW it was everything we hoped for and more! The ambiance was perfect warm, welcoming, and full of good vibes. My family is still talking about how beautiful and peaceful everything felt. It was one of those experiences where you just had to be there… absolutely speechless! Markus had the BEST customer service responsive, kind, and made everything feel seamless from start to finish. Communication was top-tier, and he made sure we had everything we needed. This was more than just a space it was the perfect kickoff to our reunion weekend. We’ll most definitely be booking again. Thank you for helping us make memories we’ll never forget!

Sommer's place was nice and roomy for our large family stay. We were in town for ULM graduation and it was nice to have everyone under the same roof and a comfortable place to hang out.

The house was nice and clean. AC worked great as well.

If you are looking for peaceful and beautiful surroundings, this is it. The home was clean and comfortable with all of the amenities needed for a great stay. The host was responsive to any questions that we had and made the check in process very easy. All in all, I highly recommend.

Our group enjoyed our stay at this uniquely decorated home. This older garden district home has some unique spaces to enjoy. The rooms were comfortable and the kitchen and bath provided all the amenities we needed. I will say in full disclosure, the bathroom is small but it was okay. We are familiar with Monroe and this is a good location. We would stay here again.

The carriage house at Layton Castle was absolutely gorgeous. You can tell that Pam not only cares about the guest experience, but also the history and preservation of the property. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else next time we’re in Monroe. And it is abbbsolutely haunted (by very pleasant and humorous ghosts!) if you’re into that.

The house is perfect. Truly enjoyed my stay. Will stay there again. Would be perfect for graduations and football weekends. Very clean and the decor makes it feel like you are in your very own bungalow. Thank you for allowing us to stay there.

This was our 2nd time to stay here. The location is convenient and the house has plenty of room for our family. Communication and check in are always smooth.

The place was amazing. I've never been to an AirBnB where the host even had snacks and breakfast items at the ready for guests. It was very spacious and secluded.

Sandys house is the best rental we've stayed at by far. Its right off the main road but still so quiet and peaceful. There are plenty of stores and food near by so you dont have to go far. We also enjoyed all the chalk, board games, and kitchen set for our girls to play with while we stayed. This rental was by far the best choice for our families stay.

Kristy is a great host! I have stayed at a fair amount of Airbnb's, Vrbo's, etc. and I can't say that I have found one where the kitchen was as fully equipped as this was. Just to name a few: water in the fridge, condiments, spices, coffee, enough food items that you can make a meal without having to run out for groceries, especially if you arrive exhausted. A nice array of snacks on the counter, a fruit basket. The dining room has the ambience of sitting in an elegant fine dining restaurant. This is truly a charming place to stay, I felt safe and very comfortable. I am noise sensitive and I did not hear anything from the surrounding neighbors. If I return to Monroe, I would definitely stay here again. It is evident that Kristy puts her heart and soul into this rental. Thank you Kristy for being a great host!

The home was very nice. Had everything you would need in it. Felt like home soon as we walked in. It was nice and clean. Host was very responsive. The neighborhood was nice and the neighbors were very friendly. Would recommend this home and would definitely stay at this home again.
