The city of Perpignan is 20 km (25 min) away, and Thuir with all its shops is 10 minutes away. Small shops in Fourques, 3 km from the gîte: doctor, pharmacy, SPAR (supermarket), Post Office, ATM. The Moulin de Reynès was built in 1602, on the river, in the heart of a preserved valley a few kilometers from Céret. It operated until the 1950s and is still in working order. The renovation of the residential part dates from 2010. Gîte de France 3-star rating, with a totally independent character, along a small river.
