Salamander Chalet

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. There is a wood stove for the winter. We deliver a wheelbarrow with firewood for €15.

Around the lake: hiking and mountain biking. Mirepoix, Cathar Castles, Carcassonne, are nearby. Street food and gourmet markets to go out in the evening. Welcome to our apartment.

The greenway that crosses the village passes just below the iron bridge. There is also a children's playground at this level.

Our very spacious house ( classified 3* ) is in a small village at the foot of the mountains, 18 km from Les Monts d 'Olmes resort and 7 minutes from Montségur Castle. The house is composed, on the ground floor, of a large living room (100 m2) and on the floor of a large bedroom with bathroom + dressing room, two large bedrooms and a bathroom. You can enjoy the small garden and park your vehicles there.
