We had a great stay in this accommodation for 2 couples with friends. The setting is beautiful and the accommodation amenities are great. Sauna, jacuzzi and even a beautiful pool, a real must! The ponds all around allow beautiful walks and the area is just a calm more than relaxing. Our hosts were very available and really welcoming. Thanks to them! In short, everything was perfect and we recommend and will return with great pleasure. Go there without so much as a second thought!

There are also some very nice hiking trails nearby, which was ideal for us. Leopold was also very accommodating and helpful. In addition, he had sweetened our stay with really nice little gestures. We had a great time for my mother's milestone birthday. It was very cozy, quiet and really idyllic with the little stream right next to it. If you are looking for a place to rest and relax, you have come to the right place.

Well designed cottage and great hosts. Modern, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, clean modern bathrooms, lovely large outdoor space next to a babbling brook. Hosts were very responsive, friendly and helpful. Sewen is a tiny quiet town with a single restaurant that was excellent. Need to drive to next town(s) for food shop, boulangerie and other restaurants. As with any rental, bring personal essentials like chef’s knife, paper towels, hairdryer, toiletries, extra pillows but otherwise everything was provided. Highly recommended for a comfortable, quiet get away in Vosges / Ballon mountains. Many hiking paths in the area.

We recommend this pleasant accommodation for spending a night close to nature. Hosts are very responsive and will come if there is an emergency.

Very nice stay, the chalet is very well located in Altenbach, the view of the mountains from the balcony is magnificent. We were 6 adults, in very good conditions of comfort. Outside and the barbecue reinforce conviviality. Thanks Christian and definitely see you next time. Claude

Everything was perfect for this extended family weekend (10 people) Very well furnished cottage, very welcoming host, very attentive and available Guaranteed rest: large quiet property, close to a lake (nature walks) We chose the lunch option and we did not regret it: family recipes, everything was excellent Congrats, stay appreciated by all generations (n=4!) Very welcoming and very functional accommodation for a small family (2 adults + 2 children). Well located to explore the surroundings and discover part of the Vosges. We spent three days in the region. It was very fast, we would not have been against staying a few more days in the area and in this accommodation.

I spend 6 days at Claude & Veronique's place. It's a nice, cosy home, very well equipped. Good internet connectivity which is great if you also need to do some work from time to time ;-). Claude & Veronique are very nice gracious hosts! The area is truly amazing. Wonderful hills and forests. Absolutely perfect for anyone who enjoys hiking and cycling (very well maintained, relatively quiet roads). Highly recommend!!
