Molinello is an ancient windmill surrounded by nature, ideal for those who love silence. It was entirely renovated to make it welcoming and functional, but preserving the original features that make it a special place. Next to the building flows the river that once operated the mills, which creates small waterfalls and tanks of clear and fresh water. It is less than 2 km from the Via degli Dei, and 25 minutes from the Rioveggio toll booth (the last km is on dirt road).

The Balcony

A unique apartment where you can relax, immersed in a centuries-old forest in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, less than an hour from Bologna. It is located at the Villini Archetta Mattei, eccentric constructions devised by Count Cesare Mattei, the father of electromeopathy, who lived and operated in the magical Rocchetta Mattei a couple of kilometers away. The Count's friends and patients were staying at the villas, a rare romantic experience for the time in the Apennines.

Completely independent, it is located in a renovated 15th-century village, in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, in the locality of Marzabotto-Luminasio. The village is 2 sq km (uphill) from Marzabotto and about 20 sq km from Bologna. Marzabotto can be reached from Bologna by train or bus. But to get to the village you need to have a car because there is no public transport from Marzabotto to Luminasio.

1 km from the Rioveggio motorway exit, the apartment is part of the villa where I live with my family. Guests have independent access from the large terrace, without stairs. In the shared square, where there are 2 harmless dogs, you can park your car. Apartment for the exclusive use of guests. In summer, it's always cool, even without air conditioning. There is no kitchen, but there is a microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine (with coffee), kettle and dishes.
