Hotel holiday rentals in Monteverde

Great location, we were able to walk to everything! Emanuel was very helpful and was on the property basically all of the time so we were always able to get a hold of him. His mother, who owns a local soda, cooked breakfast for us and she was the sweetest lady. We even went to go visit her at her soda the next day! Would recommend!

Great host and very good communication

Very nice place to stay especially for the price. Guests are friendly and the hosts are very kind with many recommendations and answers to questions.

Roy was very responsive, helpful and friendly. The property is beautiful with great trails and a tower to watch the sunset. The hammock and the friendly dogs on the property were a nice perk! Definitely would recommend this place!

Lovely rooms and view. Location isn’t ideal, you’ll certainly need a car to get everywhere. Key attractions around 40-60 min drive on average.

We had a great stay at Camino Verde which has a central location for exploring the town. The room was cozy and the host very helpful arranging a shuttle to the Monteverde reserve. The included breakfast was much appreciated as well.

Place was amazing! We stayed here on the way to Monteverde attractions and it was the perfect spot to get an early start on suspension bridges and national parks! Thanks so much for being so kind!

It's better than how it's shown in pictures! The place is very quiet and relaxing! The attention of the super friendly staff especially Flory! We went with the pets and they were super well received to a bed they gave us for them, the view and the sunset from the place is amazing The cool pool and green area surroundings you need to rest

Wish I could give more than five stars! This place is incredible. Didn’t realize when I booked it it’s actually a small resort. Wish we could have stayed longer. Property is beautiful! We sat on our porch and watched monkeys playing in the trees! Has a nice pool, hot tub, padel court, basketball court. All staff were just wonderful. Husband had a great massage at the spa. Loved this place!

very pleasant and nice place

We stayed here for a few nights with our two young children and it was exactly what we were looking for for a special get away and stay in the rainforest. We stayed in the jungle suite which felt like a treehouse, from which we enjoyed watching birds and feeling like we were in the trees. It was a beautiful and special spot, and we’re so grateful we came upon it and stayed there. Joanne and Simon are extremely welcoming and communicative. They shared suggestions for the area, and were eager to make sure we enjoyed our stay. They were particularly engaging with our children, who felt like we were staying with friends. Highly recommend this spot.

Amazing place to stay, we’ll be back!

EVERYTHING about this little peace of paradise is perfect. The location, the room, the beautiful garden, the amenities, but most of all THE VIEW. Berenice was an attentive and friendly host and made sure we had everything we needed.

I stayed for 3 day from May 27th- May 30th. And the stay was amazing, clean and the surroundings were beautiful. I would recommend staying here and I would book with them again.

this place is amazing and easy to find. it has all your basic necessities and the bed is the best. after a long day of exploring lying down in their bed is so soft you just sink in. great place for cutting cost in an expensive country.

So happy we decided to stay at this bnb! It’s privately tucked back with absolutely stunning grounds, and the view is impeccable. We didn’t rent a car and it was less than 10 min to get into the center of La Fortuna by walking. Just up the road is a soda for quick meals, as well. The room itself isn’t super large - I would say no more than 2 people would want to stay as the large bed takes up most of the space. Bubbles were provided for the hot tub - and the water does get hot!! The A/C worked well throughout the stay. It was very rainy and Silvia/friends were kind enough to leave us umbrellas the morning after we got in since they found out we didn’t have a car. Only complaint is that I wish we were provided the door code ahead of time so we didn’t have to wait outside with the bugs for instructions (granted, we were instructed to tell them when we were 20 min out but couldn’t due to cell service). But would definitely stay again if we were ever back in the area! 10/10 overall (:

Mercedes was an incredibly sweet and helpful host, she made us feel right at home from the start. The place itself is peaceful and surrounded by nature, with the sounds of wildlife adding to the relaxing atmosphere. It’s about a 15-minute drive from La Fortuna, and most tours will pick you up directly from the Airbnb, making it super convenient. If you’re looking for a stress-free stay near La Fortuna, I highly recommend this place!

We stayed 2 nights at Bauma. Everything was super clean and we loved the decor, outdoor patio with jacuzzi and the upstairs outdoor space which is an amazing place to have coffee and listen to the sounds of the rainforest. The host and communication was outstanding and we were even able to request a room clean. Loved the unique shower with the small view of the outdoors. It was super easy to catch an Uber for about 8 USD into La Fortuna. Whenever we do come back to this area I would 100% stay here again. It’s amazing and one of my favorite AirBnB’s :)

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, clean, and well-run place. Great stay! Fortuna village was very close and the host responded quickly.

Everyone was very friendly and eager from the beginning. We felt well cared for. Thank you! The view from the room with the floor-to-ceiling windows was fantastic, also from the balcony and the terrace where you could eat. The bathroom in the room was very small (unlike on the pictures), and the pool was a little "fresh"which did not bother us. The hot tub was great for relaxing. The food, breakfast like dinner were typical of the country and very good. It was also nice that there was a fridge and coffee (with machine) in the room. We stayed here for 3 nights and would book here again if we were to come back to the area around La Fortuna. Thank you so much for everything! Keep it up! Best regards to Keilor, you are great.
