Woodland Cabin - Margot Bed & Breakfast

Our cozy cabin comprises of 3 small separate buildings set in private woodland next to a 200 year old poplar tree & a gentle rocky stream clattering in the background. The cabin is essentially off-grid meaning the water comes from the stream originating the “chalambelle” on the Ardeche plateau. There is electricity, hot water, shower, a compost toilet and a wood-burner. It is suitable for 2 people. Breakfast is included and brought to you in the morning. Dinner can also be arranged onsite.

My place is close to spa resorts (Neyrac 10 minutes by car and Vals 30 minutes away), a river (the Fontaulière) accessible on foot from the house, the Ardèche River is 15 minutes away by car, the Pont du Diable (Thuyets), restaurants, the village 7 km away, producers (goat cheese, honey, seasonal vegetables and fruits), and the Ardèche mountains: hiking and mountain biking. Mont Gerbier-de-jonc, Lac d 'Issarlès less than an hour away by car and Aubenas is 30 minutes away.

Le Petit Moulinage

The "Petit Moulinage" and its 14th century house, overlooking the village, 100 meters from the medieval church and along its small stream, offer one of the best views of Burzet. This small independent house of 60 m2, its garden and private terrace, quiet, completely renovated in a vintage spirit and equipped with all the amenities of comfort (fully equipped kitchen), will be the ideal cocoon to go for a walk and discover the Ardeche, with the advice of Emmanuel.

"Coconou-labahia" tree house

With a superb view of the river, charming cabin composed of a large room with a sleeping area and kitchen, perched, surrounded by nature, sun and rest, close to the farm animals. Cleaning is done by guests, bed and bath linen is not provided. (from the Loriol exit on the A7 highway, allow 1 hour 20 minutes). In winter, water may be unavailable due to freezing, water cans are offered. The temperature of the hot water varies depending on the sunshine.

At an altitude of 640 m, in the hamlet of Aubignas, we overlook three valleys including that of the Ardèche. Les Champs d'Aubignas is the ideal place for lovers of nature, hiking, calm and the beauty of the landscape. Come and get lost in the faysses and chestnut trees. We will show you the summit and rivers to visit.

"Destination le Pal" Lodge

A well-equipped and comfortable cottage, designed for your well-being. The living room/kitchen will warm you with the warmth of the fireplace in the cold season. The comfortable sofa converts into a bed (160 x 200). The bedroom is a cocoon of softness in its rustic shell. Under the vault of the old cellar, you will sleep wonderfully. The bathroom, with its warm colors and old-fashioned arch, will bring you comfort and relaxation after a good hike.

It is located in a quiet area 2 km from Montpezat-sous-Bauzon and its amenities, as well as 30 minutes from the La Chavade and La Croix de Bauzon ski resorts. With its beautiful living room, 4 bedrooms, office, wood-burning stove, terrace on stilts, garden, and direct access to the river, the house is ideal for relaxing or working in peace, far from the stress of the city.

Stone house renovated by ourselves, close to small shops (bakery, pharmacy, grocery...)! Montpezat is a small village that is pleasant to discover! Our house, due to its geographical location, is an excellent base for many visits (Ray Pic, Vals les Bains, Lake Issarlès, Lake Coucouron, Mont Gerbier des Joncs...)! This house has been our little family cocoon for over 50 years! We hope you enjoy this place that is precious to us!
