Facing east, it provides dramatic sun rises over the nearby mountains. This hand-crafted whimsical cabin provides a home base for exploring this endlessly interesting region. Right out the door is a trail down to the valley with marshes and ponds to explore. 2 miles away is the spring fed Lake St. George, with incredibly clean and clear water.

Chickadee Corner is one of two tent camping sites at Porcupine Creek Rustic Camping in Liberty, Maine. This site is nestled in a sunny but shaded grassy hollow covered by a canopy of trees. Enjoy a quiet evening around a campfire; firewood is provided. There is a 10 x 8 platform for your tent and a covered picnic table. We are located in midcoast Maine and are within easy driving distance of the towns of Camden, Rockport and Belfast; coastal hiking, several beaches, breweries and wineries.
