The Terrace on the Apuan Alps

JackyRating, 5 stars27 months ago
Would definitely recommend this cosy place in the charming village of Viano - we felt very comfortable here and enjoyed our stay right by the beautiful Apuan Alps. The apartment offers everything one could ask for, especially the kitchen is well equipped and the heating system was very easy to adjust to our needs during the colder days. Franco was very responsive and helpful when we had trouble with the washing machine, which unfortunately didn't work properly. But aside from that everything was great and the view from the balcony is just the cherry on top!

The Apuan Alps Holidays

Great home with great amenities. Fabrizio is an attentive and helpful host, we wrote him several messages on the days when we were in the house and he always has a prompt and kind response to every request. The location of the house close to Liguria and Tuscany is also highly recommended.

Villa Lina, Luxury Farmhouse with Pool and Amazing

BrookeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Villa Lina was even more beautiful than the pictures showed. The house was clean, had new and comfortable bedding, had plenty of space for our family, and the view was outstanding. The place is very private, high up on the hill, but with the instructions from our host we had no trouble finding it, even in the dark. The driveway is about 1/4 mile, steep, with parts of it gravel, and has several sharp turns, but we made it no problem with the small jeep we rented (without 4WD). Just take it slow. It is about a 15 minute drive back down to the town center of Lucca and the train station and 10 minutes to a grocery store. The back roads are very narrow until you get to a main road so use caution and we were lucky enough that others backed up for us when we met on the narrow spots. The view and seclusion were well worth the drive up for us. If you want an amazing view of the Tuscan countryside, but also a short drive to a neat town and a train station, Villa Lina is a great choice!

La Dimora-Panoramic terrace, 5Terre nearby, Wi-fi

Great villa in a secluded place, in the middle of a beautiful town with a nice church and plaza. Clean, comfortable and very spacious (we were 4 adults and 4 kids). Nearest restaurant is at 10 mins drive and you can find a good place to buy all you need for breakfast a few meters away.

The Coastal Charm 5 Terre

LilaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The host was flexible with check in time which was amazing. Their home was very clean. The balconies are gorgeous and we enjoyed our morning coffee while relaxing on it. The best part was the bed. Full linens, comfortable pillows and soft, plump bed along with a duvet. Probably the best sleep I had while visiting Italy. I would stay here again if I’m ever in the area and will recommend same to my friends and family.

Piero's Cottage

LeighRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Marina and Francessco’s Collegnago stone house is a charming and peaceful retreat. The village is tiny, gorgeous and quaint, the villagers are friendly even if you can barely squeak out two words in Italian, and the home has everything you need. If you love creative and quirky decor then this place is for you! The stone house has been lovingly restored and decorated with genuine care. Marina and Francesco are wonderful hosts- just next door if you need them but never invasive. They had excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. Highly recommended!
