YELLOWWOODS FARM - The Sheep Shed (self catering)

We like to think that we have the best of both worlds here at Yellowwoods. The benefits of farm life, yet easy access to cafes, restaurants, bicycles trails, farmers markets, Boschhoek+Gowrie golf courses, Clifton Notties Prep school and Michaelhouse. Only 2kms off the N3, we are easily accessible and very easy to find. We are a little farm, so expect a bit of ‘farm noise’ and general day-to-day goings on! Coldstream Cottage

Set on a 20hectare property on the banks of the Mooi River, Coldstream Cottage is the perfect place to unwind. Enjoy the beautiful views on the verandah, stroll down to the river or have an early morning run. The cottage is an architect designed, open plan, one bedroom unit with partly open plan bathroom. Morning sun pours through expansive glass panes, a free standing fireplace and solid wood floors help keep it warm in winter. A 20 minute drive gets you to Nottingham Road shops and restaurant

Family Country Cottage near Nottingham Road

Paddocks Cottage on Newstead Farm nestles in the rolling hills near Nottingham Road. Here you can find dams for boating and bass fishing, a tennis court and 25ha of indigenous forest! This rural smallholding farm with Nguni Cows and retired horses has a significant history from the 1840's and gives you the chance to experience the true peace and tranquillity of the countryside, but yet is very central to top restaurants, golf courses, wedding venues and schools. The farm runs on solar power.

Country stay

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space, situated on the picturesque Midlands Meander route. . This cottage can accommodate up to 2 guests and comprises a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom with a double bed, shower, toilet and a basin. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee- and tea-making facilities. Guests also have the use of complimentary Wi-Fi and TV with streaming service during their stay. Shaded undercover parking is available on-site.

The Igloo Cottage

Thatched country cottage situated in the Rosetta area (halfway between Nottingham Road and Mooi River). The carpeted cottage (close to our home) with a private entrance, consists of: - a bedroom (double-bed), - lounge, workstation, lounge chairs and sleeper-couch, - kitchenette and - shower area. Private courtyard with a patio table and chairs. Situated on a small holding with the Mooi river 250m from the cottage. Guests will be able to paddle on, walk or rest at the river.

River Cottage

Tuck yourself away in the heart of the Karkloof valley. Feast your eyes on the beautiful view, watching the sunset over the river on your doorstep. Secure and serene, this little getaway is both convenient and tranquil. Neighbouring some of the best biking trails in the country and home to some beautiful walks and the well-known bird hides and the Karkloof Conservation Centre. Escape to our quaint cabin in the heart of the Natal Midlands, set in peaceful, manicured gardens just off the R103 on the Midlands Meander. Perfect for an overnight stay, it offers a warm, homey feel and is close to popular landmarks. Enjoy the sounds of chickens, cows, and abundant birdlife, and, if lucky, spot one of our resident chameleons. Need more space? A second cabin, also sleeping 3 guests, is available for larger groups. Woodsong Cottage - Self Catering

The cottage is situated in The Dargle Valley bordering a forestry estate and overlooks the uMngeni River. It is nestled in the trees next to the main house on Woodsong Farm, which is a small life-style farm where you are free to explore the surroundings. Enjoy walks to the small dam with a picnic basket and bird-watch, take photos, enjoy some casual fishing and wild-swimming.
