Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Moonee Valley City

The host was very responsive in replying to messages, especially when we needed an earlier check in and when we needed help because we locked ourselves out. She arranged for someone to come within 30 mins to help us get in. The place itself was enormous, modern, clean and a perfect setting for any group holiday or to host a gathering.

We’re so grateful to have had Nicola as our host. She was incredibly warm, kind, and responsive throughout our stay. When we had a small ant issue (thanks to Melbourne’s wet weather, not the house!) she came over right away with spray - and the ants disappeared overnight. She also thoughtfully left us milk, snacks, and later brought extra blankets for comfort. Every gesture showed how much she cared. Her home was absolutely stunning - full of character, charm, and warmth. Every corner felt intentional, with beautiful decor and trinkets that reflected her love for travel and culture. There was even a play area upstairs that our kids loved! The house had everything we needed and was conveniently located near shops. We truly adored both the home and Nicola. She made our trip feel so special, and we left feeling incredibly thankful for the experience. Thank you Nicola! ❤️

First, I would like to thank Jackson for being a very thoughtful and helpful host. Right from arranging a new electric rice cooker which was very helpful for us, and providing useful kitchen amenities like the coffee machine, Jackson ensured that our specific needs were met. Even the small things like umbrellas, shopping bags, bread, milk etc were taken care off. The stay was very comfortable for my family, with easy access to buses and other forms of public transport. Even though it was beside a busy main road, the area was peaceful and access to shops and malls were just a short bus ride away. We frequently walked to nearby parks and some good bakeries on Gordon St. The living area and kitchen were comfortable and spacious, and the bedrooms were cozy. My kids loved the bunk bed arrangement. The bathroom were clean with enough supplies for our entire stay. I am glad to recommend Jackson's place and would love to stay here again, and hope to meet him next time. Thank you.

1/2 block from a small park and many shops and restaraunts in Centreway. Paeceful!

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay. Mark met us at the home and showed us around which was so helpful. He was super friendly and we felt comfortable chatting with him. We really enjoyed relaxing in the spa with some wine and enjoying a movie in bed. It’s was really nice not to have kids around for a night. It was a perfect spot for what we needed to do in the western suburbs of Melbourne. It’s also only a 8min drive to the CBD.

This is a wonderful relaxing home…tennis courts and nearby park were fantastic for our grandchildren. Ange and Lee were outstanding hosts and very responsive to any issues. Highly recommended. Ron and Eunice

The apartment is clean, very well appointed, and provided nice extras like a range of teas and cooking condiments which were appreciated. The bed is comfortable, the shower is spacious, and having laundry facilities is also a bonus. A lovely, comfy, and conveniently located apartment, which was excellent for my short stay. The host/s were also responsive and very accommodating when my plans changed. I will be recommending this apartment to friends.

Great location, central & walking distance to everything in Moonee Ponds yet apartment is tucked away in a quiet street. Owner is very friendly, responsive & keeps the place clean & tidy. Spacious for a one bedroom apartment & great value. Will definitely stay here again!

Shannon was very friendly and responsive to my questions. The trams are one block away, the supermarket was two blocks away and it was only a little further to the trains. I also enjoyed walking by the river, which is about a kilometer away. The master bedroom has a north facing window. Thanks Shannon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bhanu’s! The place was clean and spacious with everything we might need, Bhanu was always responsive and very helpful with any of our questions. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!!

Great stay! Has everything we need. Very comfortable bed, good water pressure of the shower, large space and the host are welcoming and easy to communicate. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again in the future!

YiXiao was an amazing host and my friends and I had a wonderful stay at the Airbnb. It’s spacious, close to restaurants and public transport, and everything is within walking distance. She was a wonderful host and I’d love to book again when staying in Melbourne.

The apartment was as advertised and exceptionally clean and inviting. After an issue with the building access code was fixed by Filippo we had no other concerns. Very highly recommended and appreciative of the access to Filippo when needed.

Excellent unit to stay in. Within walking distance of the beautiful Queens Park and Moonee Ponds Shopping Centre. Step outside and the tram line is right there to take you into Melbourne should you need it. The condo was clean and spacious with a beautiful balcony overlooking onto the city, especially amazing as you would often see the hot air balloon flights around Melbourne in the mornings. Highly recommended.

Wow ! Is an understatement of this beautiful place, photos don’t do the place enough justice ! The view is breathtaking the city view is amazing especially at night time Filippo is probably one of the best host we have ever encountered. The clear communication at all times and answered any enquires we had. The place cleanliness was over the top. Amazing place and amazing host, this place will be our go to whenever we have a holiday. Thank you once again for the amazing experience. If anyone is thinking to book just got for it you will not be disappointed one bit!!!!

This place is perfect and has all the facilities and accessories you would need for a long or short stay. Great location .. everything on your doorstep. Filippo’s place is exactly as described. We were travelling with kids so it was great to be in walking distance to Queens Park and a number of nice cafes and restaurants! Filippo was prompt in his responses and also accommodated an early check-in for us :)
