Such a cute cottage! It was nice and clean and quiet - just how we like things. The beds were super comfy, which is always a bonus. And our doggo loved having access to a fenced in space to freely run. We would recommend this place to anyone!

Lindsay has a gem of a place! Such a neat experience being able to see the farm life, up close in person. Secluded, peaceful property. Our dog loved seeing the animals. Thanks for a great stay!

Lindsay’s property is awesome, great place to wander amongst the horses and hang out with the barn cats! And of course the breakfast is amazing!

The farm is beautiful and peaceful, the apartment serene. Walkout access to the pond for fishing and kayaking was special and so enjoyable. Everything was pristine, thoughtfully decorated, and cozy. A lovely stay and perfect space for my family of three while we were visiting relatives for holidays. Leia is very responsive as a host and this is a great place.

Great place for equestrians competing at the Carolina Horse Park. As close as hotels but much quieter. Caitlin was very responsive, even when I asked to fix something that was clearly my operator error! Shared bathroom was no issue since I was out early and came back after dinner.

The single beds were the only complaint. Other than that, the place was great. Very unique and awesome.

Adorable efficiency over the stables with everything you need in the kitchen and a comfy bed. Melissa made us feel right at home and really enjoyed our stay on the farm with some great restaurants close by. We'll definitely be returning!

Excellent little spot with a great outdoor area. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the property since we had other commitments in town, but it was a cozy and comfortable retreat whenever we returned. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful stay.

Kristi’s place is very spacious inside as it is outside. It was very quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view of their property (and horses) from the balcony. She was a very responsive and kind host, we had no issues at all. We will definitely stay here again if available during our annual visit to Southern Pines.

The place was so CUTE! It was very homey and comfortable. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We got to see horses every day and some cats and dogs! They were all too adorable. It was very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful area!

This was our second time staying here! The apartment is clean, spacious and stocked with everything you could need. We love sitting outside and enjoying the view of the pastures. If you aren’t in the mood to cook there are great restaurants and breweries 10 minutes away. We also brought two horses that stayed on the farm in a spacious safe pasture with run in shed. The trails are right off the property and go for miles. The dogs love the dog door and the fenced yard keeps them safe. Family joined us for a few days to take advantage of all of the golf course options. Carrie and Bill are fantastic hosts that go out of their way to help make your stay amazing. We highly recommend staying here - it really is horse and golf heaven.

Amy and her husband Weibe were very helpful and friendly. Perfect location for 2 weeeks of cycling in North Carolina. The dogs 🐕, cats 🐈 and horses 🐎 were great and always there to greet us ... of course feeding them helped them warm up to us.

An absolutely serene and unforgettable stay! Carrie and Glenn were incredibly respectful, attentive hosts who made us feel right at home. The guest house was spotless, comfortable, and well appointed. It has 3 large bedrooms, a stunning new master bath and huge picture windows facing the horse paddocks. A large observation deck offers peaceful views of horses and wildlife—plus we were lucky enough to see a young bluebird couple starting a nest! The impeccably maintained property felt comfortable, safe, and soul-soothing. A perfect location for those traveling with horses as the fences are sturdy and the extensive pastures are safe, private and comfortable for them. Chestnut Farm borders the Walthour Moss Foundation and is a rare gem in Southern Pines. Highly recommend
