Sandy’s place was a light well equipped clean, safe place to stay. I was lucky enough to get at a reduced rate so was a good value for money place to stay while visiting family. There is a dwelling upstairs and noises carried down but was not a problem for me. There is another Airbnb on the property, again, no problem. As it is the bottom floor of a house and winter time and it has quite a lot of glass windows and doors, it was quite cold and the heating didn’t feel quite adequate but after a while, it did do the job, just. A lot of the heat probably travels up the stairs to the rest of the house. There were a lot of beautiful pieces of pottery throughout.

What a little gem! So happy to have found this house. The home is older style & very cosy with modern comforts including a renovated kitchen & bathroom. It is in a lovely quiet location within close proximity to shops and other amenities and is a perfect base to explore Melbourne, the Yarra Valley, and Dandenong Ranges. Owen was an exceptional host, ensuring we had everything we needed, including pantry and fridge staples and a few treats. Communication with Owen before and during our stay was seamless and he greeted us on arrival to show us around and ensure our we had everything we needed. Highly recommended and would absolutely love to stay again!

We enjoyed our stay in a great location—an easy walk to Mooroolbark shops and train station. There was plenty of street parking available, and the undercover spot just fit our RAV4. The house suited our needs, stayed warm and had beautiful natural sunlight in some rooms. Stuart was an excellent communicator, and we appreciated the thoughtful handwritten note and packet of Tim Tams left for us—it was a lovely welcome. Check-in was smooth and everything went as expected.

This was a great little home away from home for me and my two Whippets whilst renovations got underway at home. The yard was secure and the girls were happy home alone whilst I went to work. Thanks Linda and Glen
