Perfect for a walking holiday, the Kirklees Way passes the property and the Pennine Way, Oldham Way are close by. A great place for mountain biking with the Transpennine Trail a few miles away and lots of cycle paths/trails on your doorstep. Local real ale pubs and plenty of cafes in Marsden village a short walk (15 minutes) along the canal. Beautiful scenery, views from the cottage are amazing.

Such a lovely place! So clean and presentable. Helen was so kind, informative and hospitable. She responds so quickly and gave us local recommendations. The views are beautiful and super easy to get into the city too - we took an uber and it wasn’t expensive. The value for money was amazing! Charming Cosy rooms, home from home guest house.

We spent 2 nights in Michelle's lovely home whilst we were visiting family in Manchester. The rental unit is located at the front of the house and the owners live at the rear. You enter via the main front door (which is just used by guests) and then straight into the lovely spacious sitting room which has a very comfy sofa and a big smart TV........perfect for cosy evenings in. From the sitting room, there is a staircase to the upstairs, where the double bedroom, office and bathroom are located. All very clean and well kept. The small fridge in the office is useful. There is a dedicated parking spot just opposite the house. Michelle and Pete are very welcoming and hospitable hosts and communication was excellent. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return again when visiting family.
