Gelegen aan de rand van het charmante Corbigny, waar u alle voorzieningen binnen handbereik heeft. De omgeving is ideaal voor natuurliefhebbers: tussen het Regionaal Natuurpark Morvan en het schilderachtige Canal du Nivernais. Ook perfect gelegen op de pelgrimsroute naar Santiago de Compostela, met Vézelay als historisch vertrekpunt.

Hidden between maples and bamboos, the chestnut cottage is located right on the edge of a 700 m2 body of water. Private entrance, free adjoining parking, not overlooked by the rest of the estate which consists of 30,000 m2 of a small private stable, a small cottage and our home. Ideally located 5 minutes from Nevers and surrounded by 1500 ha of Amognes state forest directly accessible on foot. Calm and nature predominate in this preserved place out of time.

Take a break and unwind in this peaceful little corner at the gateway to Morvan. Nature lovers, you will be won over. Located close to the Chablisien vineyards, castles such as Bazoches/Ratilly/Chastellux or Guédelon, and the caves of Arcy. Private enclosed house, with one bedroom, possibility to add a baby bed on request. Linens provided (sheet, bath towels, tea towel). Fully equipped kitchen. Animals such as dogs and cats only accepted and 2 maximum.

A few kilometers from Toucy and its market but also not far from Auxerre, the medieval site of Guedelon or the Château de St-Fargeau, it is the perfect place to disconnect for a weekend or more. There is plenty to do in the nearby area. Walks in nature (Grande Randonee) or old towns. Lakes and rivers. Wine routes and good food. Rent bicycles or canoes. Churches (Basilica of Vezelay) and Castles. Or relax reading a book on your terrace with great views.

The Foreman's House

The Domaine des Carriers is a former limestone quarry whose old houses and outbuildings have been renovated into charming gîtes and guest rooms. This space, a true haven of peace and history, is located 5 minutes by car from Clamecy, 46 minutes from Auxerre and 2h35 from Paris. INFORMATION: There are dogs running loose on the estate.
