The house is an absolutely charming combination of old & rustic with tasteful decorations and modern amenities. The design of place is really smart and well considered. It is located in a really, really quiet spot and is very peaceful and beautiful. The closest town (Mogadouro) is maybe a 15 minute drive away. And there are lots of places to visit in the area by car. Rui is a great host. Responsive and helpful. We were looking for a place to stay with our dog to escape the fireworks during the São João celebrations in our part of Portugal. Rui assured us we would have a peaceful time at his place and he was 100% right.

We had a perfect stay. Both Jose and his wife took care of us perfectly and fixed anything that could come up. The house is impressive and perfect for a large family like ours,with 4 children,with 4 children. Everything was in perfect condition and very clean. We'll be back for sure, and I highly recommend it.
