Makayla’s place is gorgeous and she’s a wonderful host. The place could have had less (cute) decorations for those traveling with young kids. We hid most of them but missed one or two that eventually became casualties of the 3 year old. But Makayla handled it with grace. And was so kind in her exchanges going so far as to mail back the toddler’s favorite PJs and stuffy.

Place was great and super clean. Loved the space and fit the three families perfectly. Only bummer was no access to the pool but that was out of the owners hand and she was going to follow up immediately on the change in the process.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Yvonne’s home during early summer. The condo was very clean, clutter free, tastefully decorated, and fully stocked of ALL supplies (facial and bathroom tissue, detergent, softener, coffee and all the accompaniments, towels, etc.). The location was fantastic, which made it easy for us to enjoy time in Harbor Springs, Petoskey, Cheboygen, and Good Hart. It was off the beaten path, quiet, and very beautiful. We enjoyed relaxing at the outdoor pools and hot tub. Yvonne communicated very well and responding quickly to any inquiries we had. She’s a wonderful host with a great home! Do not hesitate to book her home if it’s available!

The cabin was even better than expected! Nicole responded to every question that I had within 10 minutes. This was the perfect place for a kid free getaway and I think it would be just as fun in the winter as the summer. The location was perfect for visiting other cities if you want to travel around. We went to Petosky and Boyne city and visited Northern Michigan speedway on Saturday night. We will definitely be back!

Bill was the most attentive host we’ve ever had. He’s personable and communicates well and truly wants to make sure your needs are met. He met us at the cottage and did an in-person orientation of the home. I felt comfortable texting him if any questions came up later. This was a beautiful home and very well cared for.

A great quiet place to relax. The home was very well equipped for a toddler, including toys/books, a pack-n-play, booster seat for the dinner table, and bath toys. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed in well organized layout. I was worried about the lack of A/C, but the house was pretty well shaded and it got a little warm but stayed comfortable inside, especially with the provided fans. It is the UP, and we stayed in June, so the outside amenities were basically unusable due to the swarming mosquitoes, but that’s not a knock on the house at all, just something to understand and/or prepare for. This was our jumping off point for a Mackinac Island trip, so it was great that it was only 15 minutes to the ferry/downtown St. Ignace . We also recommend trying Kingston Kitchen for dinner in town. Caleb's house was just what we needed for our family vacation! Caleb communicated several times the day of our arrival and had the house open and waiting for us. He also checked in with me during our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. The house was clean and very spacious for our group. Would definitely stay here again if in St. Ignace!

The cabin was cozy and had great views. Parking is a bit limited if you have more than one vehicle but we made it work. Robert was great at responding to all my questions. There was also plenty of staples like salt, pepper, toilet paper, paper towel etc. I would definitely rent this place again.

I highly recommend this home! We brought our two grown children, their spouses, and our 2-yr old grandchild here for a long weekend. Seven people total. It is a fantastic place to stay while visiting Mackinac Island and the St. Ignace area! It's a beautiful family home in a peaceful country setting, yet close to Castle Rock and only a 5 min. drive to town. The layout is perfect for large family groups, both inside and outside. There are lots of games, a fire pit, and several nice lounging areas. There is huge mudroom to store any extras, and even a garage for parking! The home is very clean and well-appointed. Amy filled the various spaces with beautifully fragrant fresh-cut peonies and left a small package of postcards - a very nice touch. She was proactive with up-front instructions, and also very responsive to any questions. Heads up: the driveway is long, windy and hilly. It will probably require a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get to in the snowy months.

This cozy house exceeded our expectations! We had five adults and a 5 year old with us on a long weekend and we were all very comfortable. Loved the proximity to downtown St. Ignace, the ferry to Mackinac Island, and Mystery Spot. We also enjoyed the bonfire pit both on the property and on the beach, the Rec Room and playground on site, do bring lots of bug spray though. Sunrises and sunsets were gorgeous. Fun picking out old VHS tapes to watch with the family! We all agreed we’d love to come back someday.

Our stay at High Banks Haven was very relaxing with privacy and lots of amenities. The wood burning hot tub was such a treat, we were in it multiple times a day. Once you get it to temp. it’s amazing how well it holds temperature the next morning! A quick walk down a set of stairs to the beach, it’s very rocky but that’s what we were looking for. The master bedroom was cozy and had a comfortable firm mattress. Everything was clean and tidy. Kelly was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. We had a wonderful stay and will rave about this place to everyone we know!

We had a great stay - this waterfront setting was a perfect place for Our family to gather for a wedding at Shanahan’s barn! The waterfront is gorgeous.. also loved that they had all of the little toiletries and paper products - perfect amount for a weekend and very convenient.

If you are ever in the Manistique are, do not hesitate to book Travis’s place! This was our first trip to the UP, and wow, what a perfect place to stay! The most relaxing house and location I have ever stayed, this property - right on Lake Michigan - was perfect!

This place is amazing. One of the best places we have stayed in. The home is beautiful and sitting by the water is peaceful. We were in town for a funeral, and I mentioned this to Patty before our arrival. When we got to the house, we were touched to find two travel packs of Kleenex thoughtfully left for us. I reached out to thank her, as I had gone through mine and hers at the service. The next morning, we found two more packs tucked in a Ziplock bag under our windshield wiper with a sweet note that said, ‘Just in case.’ It was such a kind and considerate gesture that truly made a difference during a tough time. As for the home, it’s perfect for a single person or couple. It was spotless, well-organized, comfortable furniture, ample closet space, and both the check-in and check-out processes were easy and straightforward. We would highly recommend and will stay there again without hesitation!
