This was indeed a wonderful retreat. Just the right balance between nature and convenience. The clever use of space meant that there was plenty of room to relax and stash things away during my 4 night stay. Stunning location, served as a great base for local beaches. Clara was very friendly. I’d happily come again.

Where to begin? A small piece of paradise I think comes close! Eddie and Becks were super hosts, warm, welcoming and full of great advice and recommendations. The farm is in an idyllic location, yet only a couple of miles from the sea. Peaceful, quiet and the best place to unwind and explore. The cricket pavilion is a charming , rustic and well equipped bolthole for a couple or small family to enjoy. Dennis the Cockerpoo had the time of his life exploring and playing with his toys in the garden. The local pubs are great and the local beaches are excellent. We had a special dinner in the Ilchester Arms in neighbouring Symondsbury and hours of countryside walks in the hills surrounding. The local farm shop is an absolute gem of a place. The best of Dorset is a short drive in the car away. There is so much more I could add and we are definitely looking to return there for more Dorset heaven. Howard's place is spot on .Nice touch with the bottle of prosecco and Victorian lemonade. Would recommend to anyone. We will be going back at some point ,10/10

We had a lovely four nights stay at Suki and Owen's place and really enjoyed it. The views across the rolling countryside are wonderful and peaceful and we enjoyed the sunsets sat outside the barn. Listening to the wildlife and the owls at dawn were also highlights. A great location for both coastal and countryside walks. Cosy accommodation with everything we needed for our stay and comfy bed. Would highly recommend.
