We have restructured our grandparents’ home and we would like to offer you an experience characterized by simplicity and hospitality, to understand and appreciate the value of the family we grew up with. We have combined tradition and design, maintaining the original structure of the house and re-using the materials available in the old house . We have combined these antique materials (and objects) with a modern thought of aesthetics and comfort.

We are Riccardo, Cristina, Lorenzo, Bianca and Alice, and we came to this place in the forest to begin a simple yet rewarding life, trying to learn from nature. Our home in the deep mountain forest exists in quiet isolation, 1 kilometer from the nearest inhabitants. We offer you an attic apartment hand-renovated by Riccardo. The apartment has a big bed and pull-out couch (both situated under skylights), a living area, kitchenette, private bathroom and a view of the valley.

Accommodation in the center of Carignano, very well connected with Turin (13km), Alba, Cuneo, Saluzzo, Carmagnola and other neighboring towns as the bus lines that run along these routes pass and stop in front of the front door. The accommodation is comfortable and pleasant to live in thanks to the large furnished terrace. By bus or car, in 20 minutes you can reach the first metro stop in Turin (Piazza Bengasi). “La casa del bucato” was so called because it is located near the wash house that once (and sometimes still today) was used by the women of the village to do laundry, “l'ansiva” in fact. This small but cozy house, fully accessible, with attention to the smallest details to lull you in the mountain charm, consists of a single room that houses a double bed, a kitchenette and a bathroom and overlooks the outdoor area equipped as a solarium.
