The Nest

This charming 3-bed cottage with private parking and garden is situated in Shawford, near to the historic town of Winchester. Walks along the River Itchen, swimming, fishing and picnic spots are on your doorstep. Local pub in Shawford and pubs in nearby village of Twyford. Winchester is also accessible by foot ( 45 mins) or a short 5 minute train or bus away. London is an hour by train and other local attractions include Marwell Zoo, Peppa Pig World, South Coast, Portsmouth and New Forest.

Flat in Winchester

A modern 1 bedroom flat within a 20-25min walk of the historic town centre of Winchester and the Winchester train station. Buses also run regularly in to town. The flat is separate from the main house and is light and modern. It has a king bed and fully fitted kitchen. Winchester is a beautiful city with lots of historic sites to explore, including the Cathedral and Great Hall, there are also beautiful walks through the countryside and the well known Christmas Market from late November.

Perfect for IBM Hursley, Peppa Pig World/Paultons Park, the New Forest (25 minutes) and beaches (40 minutes). You can be in Southampton with cinemas, bowling, shopping etc in 20 minutes. A great exploring base!

The Annexe is a bright and airy self contained house separate from our home. The accomodation is over two floors with wonderful views out to the Hampshire countryside. We are on a quiet private country road 2 miles from the vibrant city of Winchester, 6 miles from Southampton Airport and 3 miles from IBM Hursley.
