Perfectly located in Asheville - at walking distance from all the restaurants and bars downtown - we felt immediately at home in Andrew's cosy and nicely decorated apartment. The bedroom is in the back, which made it very quiet at night. The parking for the car is also very convenient. Andrew is very responsive and always here to help. We will definitely come back next time we are in Asheville.

“Best one yet,” to quote my husband. We LOVED calling this adorable and private accommodation of Rose’s our home away from home for the 12 days we spent in Chimney Rock. Everything that we needed and more was provided. Rose is delightful and made us feel so welcomed. The village of Chimney Rock, nestled in the Hickory Nut Gorge, is a treasure with restaurants and plenty of little shops that are walkable from this location. And the star of the show, Chimney Rock State Park, is directly behind Rose’s house, just a 3-mile jaunt up the mountain. Rose’s garden alone is a gem to behold, located right outside your door. We loved the privacy of the location, as well as the peace and quiet that was afforded to us after busy days hiking and exploring this magnificent region. We were thrilled to see a few other residents of this area from time to time, members of the black bear population. So if you are searching for an authentic experience when coming to Chimney Rock, this is the place!

Carly's place is cute. It is bright and airy and it smelled good! It is well decorated. The bed was super comfortable, and we are really picky about beds because husband has back issues. It is a firm mattress and doesn't sag, yet it was not so firm that it was hard and uncomfortable. I would be interested in owning a mattress like this one. We felt very safe and secure in the apartment as there is an outer door to the building and an inner door to the apartment, each with a separate code. The only disadvantage for us was the clawfoot tub. It is cute, but as folks in our late 60s/early 70s, standing in it for a shower was more than we could manage because there was nothing to grab onto. Younger folks might not have a problem.

Loch Norm Lair is beautiful and relaxing. Great neighborhood. Just the peaceful week we needed. Rick and Judy are extremely friendly. Rick loves to share his boat and will take you for a ride. We sat and talked with them on several occasions and shared a dinner at a restaurant. The place is well cared for and a great deal, very reasonable pricing. It was a shame the sailboat wasn't working, would have loved a ride. We are already talking about a return trip in warmer weather to fully enjoy the water. Thank you so much for the beautiful week. First I will say, we are picky and this spot was PERFECT!!! We loved everything about Jane’s place!! Jane and her sweet husband were very helpful and accommodating and so friendly! I highly recommend their little getaway and we will definitely be back!

We had a perfect visit here! Emily was very helpful and the space felt very homey (which was much needed after a roadtrip of camping and driving). Would recommend to anyone!

We stayed at Lynn’s place for a few days while visiting family nearby. We appreciated the clear instructions and easy check-in. The Airbnb was very clean and comfortable- we were able to find everything we needed with ease. There are a lot of thoughtful touches that make this place special (we loved the towel warmer in the bathroom). Lynn was very friendly and accommodating and provided a comfy high chair for our 10 month old baby. Thank you!

Mike’s place was beautiful and clean. The neighborhood was quiet and very close to downtown. I fell in love with the Davidson College Campus and downtown. Mike’s place had everything I needed and the big TV was amazing. It’s a small but very comfortable place, will definitely book again.

This is one of the nicest Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at! This room is very spacious, clean, and in a quiet safe neighborhood. Perfect location for visiting the blue ridge parkway, Pisgah NF, Asheville and Black Mountain! I highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the area!

Beautiful and peaceful place to relax and get away from everything but close to Asheville and other areas I wanted to visit. Very well put together and thought out. I enjoyed the swing on the back porch in the mornings. The spa like bathroom is also very relaxing. For this trip, I was on my own and appreciated that there was a secluded feeling but the owners were above and available if needed. Everything I needed for a peaceful get away was provided. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Jacques Place was the best! My mom and I needed a place to stay after visiting Charlotte to see her brother. We needed a place that was close to the city center and easily accessible and we found that in this apartment. The home was squeaky clean and nothing out of place. We were only there for the night so didn’t get to use the wonderful kitchen setup or the amenities but it looked like a lovely complex. Easy access from the private parking garage made checking in and out a breeze. Jacques Place was welcoming and clear in their instruction. Thanks for the stay

Wonderful place right near the historic downtown. Easy walk to anywhere. It’s a lovely building with four units (two on each floor), so there is noise from the neighbors as one would expect. It actually helped us out because we heard one neighbor talking about a light left on in a car outside and realized it was ours! The host is kind and easy to communicate with.

It was a nice place that met our needs well. Karen was very responsive.

What a lovely Airbnb ! John was an excellent host! His wife made a Banana Nut loaf bread for our arrival. And it was delicious! John shared some fresh eggs from their chickens and my husband devoured them!! The unit is neat, modern and clean! There is everything one needs in the kitchen and bathroom from towels , linens , shampoo and soap . A great big living room TV to watch movies on and a bedroom TV . The leather couch and chairs are comfy. The bed was extremely comfortable and I am fussy as I have several chronic back issues . I was relieved and delighted!! Alot of thought and care goes into this downstairs basement apt . This location is convenient to several key cities and towns. It is roughly 75 miles from Ashville, Hickory is only a few miles. Blowing Rock , N.C. is about 30-35 miles . ( a must !! ) An excellent restaurant in town is owned by a family member and does not disappoint! Highlands Butchery . We would stay again when traveling or visting Valdese area.

This airbnb is only 4 miles away from The Barn at Blue Sky Farm which is why I chose it to stay while attending a family wedding at that location. It is clean and very peaceful. Church bells play faintly off in the distance mid morning. Full kitchen with oven, stove and full sized fridge for anyone that wants to cook any meals. The guest is able to turn on either AC or heat and set the temperature. With the weather in the 70s during my stay I found AC in the late afternoon kept it comfortable and having the window and doors open earlier in the day rather than AC was best. I didn't meet the hosts, but it was easy to access the unit on my own. As parking is under the large deck, the car stays shaded and cool. There is a nice clothing rack and hangers to hang up your formal wear if you are a wedding guest! I'm really glad I chose this location to stay at for the wedding and would recommend it.

Mike was a terrific host. He answered every question I had, gave great recommendations, and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely recommend to my friends back home. 5 stars!

We were so lucky to find this place about 2 miles from my Son’s house. After a short ride on some windy, hilly roads (not bad at all) we arrived in a lovely neighborhood. As hosts they were friendly and helpful and more than generous. They supplied breakfast foods, water bottles, and other food stuffs that were more than welcome after a long drive. The Airbnb was spotless and welcoming, bed (master, we didn’t use the other bedroom) was extremely comfortable. Of course the hot tub was a huge bonus that was also a welcomed perk. Barbara and Steve were there when we arrived and were More than gracious. From start to finish our visit was perfect. We felt right at home and access to downtown Weaverville and Asheville was a breeze. We will definitely return.

Denise's place is very nice. It's located in a peaceful, wooded setting that is 4 minutes from downtown Black Mountain. The bed is comfortable and everything in the space is in great shape. The hot tub is very nice and has a view of the back yard and an adjacent wooded area. Denise and Jimmy are helpful and quick to respond to messages. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be able to rent again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay and really appreciate the available pack-n-play, kitchen booster seat and utensils for our child. Great location!

Frank and Peter are simply the best hosts we've encountered in our years of Airbnb. This is not hyperbole - their apartment is spotless, has everything you need, their communication is as prompt and clear as it gets and when they see you, you are treated as an old friend. The amenity description does not exaggerate and the photos are not staged. This apartment is not to be missed if available.

Susan’s place was quiet, clean, and spacious! The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room for our dog crates inside as well as a backyard and neighborhood for us to walk with our puppies! The sectional was great for movie watching at the end of a day exploring!

Great location. Very close to downtown Hickory. Space was clean.

We always enjoy staying here! It’s our go-to place on Beech Mountain. Super-comfortable beds. We love sitting on the balcony and watching the deer while we have coffee in the morning. Michelle is a gracious host and an excellent communicator. Thanks again for another great stay!
