Tent holiday accommodation in Morocco

Very nice tent stay in the desert near Zagora. The tents are 15 minutes away from Zagora and the trip can be made by car or by camel. The dinner served was a delicious tajine and a breakfast was served in the morning. The camel ride is a great addition as well.

Very nice experience with Hassan. Camelback ride trip to a completely secluded camp in the desert very well framed by our two companions. Upon return excellent breakfast at the departure hotel. We recommend it without hesitation.

We had an unforgettable time with Tarik and his team near Zagora, in the middle of the desert. The camp was beautifully located and very lovingly designed. The overnight stay was comfortable, the food super tasty and the evening entertainment just fantastic – with music, dancing and really good mood under the stars. Breakfast was also plentiful and very delicious. There are various opportunities for leisure activities at the camp, so it never gets boring. On Tarik's recommendation, we drove even deeper into the desert on the second day and spent another night there – a unique experience! Communication with Tarik was smooth at all times. He is an incredibly warm and kind host who really takes care of his guests. Thank you for this special time – we will be happy to come back!

Sarah helped us with all arrangements getting from Marrakech to her place. The driver she arranged was professional and knowledgeable. Mohammed welcomed us at the camp and was helpful and always available for our next adventure! While all the adventures in the desert were amazing, reading and enjoying the quiet were fantastic. Great experience in the desert

Hamza's camp was the perfect escape from the stress of the Moroccan cities. He provided tasty affordable food and lots of useful local advice. He even took us on a fun, great value overnight trip to the desert. Thanks again, Hamza

This riad is very beautiful and the village of Ait Bihi is a gorgeous setting for relaxing. I really got lulled into the lazy rhythm. The bedroom is so dark at night that you might sleep well into the morning. The bathrooms are a bit cramped but there is great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The outdoor living was not a problem, even in January. And the stars are beyond belief. There is lots of space--many patios, courtyard living/dining, rooftop terrace. Lehoucine & Fadna are very kind and even followed up with some items I left behind. The store down the road has some great homemade snacks. We didn't have a ton of time to really discover the town (there might not be much to discover) but we enjoyed giving rides to people and meeting some folks. If you don't have a car, you'll want to get comfortable with hitching.

During my tour around Morocco, this camp stood out as the absolute highlight of my trip. The setting was breathtaking, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty and authentic Moroccan hospitality. The accommodations were comfortable and well-prepared, and the evening under the stars—complete with traditional music, delicious food, and a warm campfire—was truly unforgettable. We chose activities at the same time as the place. Very nice stay. Arriving in Merzouga Mohamed ( the driver/guide) picked us up to take us to the camp in the desert by jeep. The tents are very good. There is a sanitary unit with toilet and shower. Electricity in tents. Meals are good. Mohamed ( the waiter) is really super nice, he doesn't have a lot of language in French, but we had a good laugh with him, always ready to help or chat. Then we did a Berber farmers tour not far from the camp. It's pretty special to “visit” people's misery. Then visit the Malian Musicians. At the camp we also enjoyed a Berber music evening, it was very nice. Thanks to all the Mohamed:)

The stay at Dar Inacamp was truly wonderful. Every detail was carefully taken care of and you can feel the passion of those who work there. We were greeted with great kindness by Ali, always smiling and helpful, who made us feel at home right away. The camp atmosphere is relaxing, authentic and magical. The organization was impeccable and the staff always friendly and helpful. An experience that leaves beautiful memories and that I recommend to those who want to experience something special.

An Unforgettable Desert Experience in Merzouga" My stay at the bivouac was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a sense of adventure. Nestled among the golden dunes of the Sahara, the camp offered a perfect blend of authenticity and comfort. The tents were well-equipped, cozy, and beautifully decorated, providing the right amount of privacy while still allowing us to feel connected to the vast desert surroundings. Watching the sunset over the dunes was a breathtaking experience that I will never forget. The traditional Moroccan dinner we enjoyed under the stars was delicious, with an impressive variety of flavors. The hosts made sure we were well taken care of and shared stories about Berber culture and life in the desert, which added a personal touch to the whole experience. Experience to do. Perfect for disconnecting and relaxing.

The Sahara camp was beautiful, and the people working there were wonderful. Moreover I arrived to auberge Akabar very early in the morning of my check in and was offered a room and welcomed to use the hotels facilities without a problem until the camels left for the camp at 6pm. Very real and generous people to which I will definitely come back for a visit.

A very good address in Taghazout, very nice sea view, peaceful terrace. Very good contact with the owners of the place, the staff and all the guests passing through the place. It is an ideal place to be quiet and close to life in Taghazout. I recommend asala guesthouse. Thank you so much for your time here.

The amenities that are unique from Hmad are the camel ride and the ATV ride is a dream come true. On eating for my tastes you can improve. Anyway, everything is very nice.

Rachid is a very kind person. He invited us to his family home. We ate some local food (couscous) and fresh friuts with him. He is very informative person and well known in Merzouga and Berber villages. I really recommend his hospitality and guidiance ober the Desert.
