Our beautiful heritage cottage is situated in Victoria's historic goldfield region. Located an easy 90 min drive from Melbourne. Tastefully restored and decorated for your comfort and enjoyment. Located an easy 2 min walk to Maldon's shops and cafes Sinnamons Cottage is a tasteful, well equipped and comfortable cottage only a short 2 minute walk to the heritage charm of Maldon township. The cottage is nestled in amongst a lovely, spacious garden complete with a working vegetable patch, fruit trees and even a productive chicken coop where our girls will do their best to provide you with fresh eggs for breakfast. The cottage comfortably sleeps 4 adults Sinnamons is pet friendly and once pet is approved by manager a one off $50 pet fee will be added to the confirmed reservation. Guests have full access to all that the cottage has to offer. Top quality crockery, glassware, cutlery and bedding is provided along with free WiFi, Netflix, Smart TV's, eclectic CD/DVD collection, current magazines and even a spa. In Winter, our woodfire will keep the living room cosy. The cottage is equipped with reverse cycle heating/cooling. In Summer, the BBQ facilities and outdoor eating area/garden will guarantee a very pleasant afternoon. Guests are encouraged to contact the owner directly if they have any questions regarding the cottage or Maldon itself. The owner will not be present during guest's stay but has a local representative on hand should the need arise Maldon is literally a step back in time to the glorious Victorian Goldrush era. Period buildings have been frozen in time and strolling the streets of Maldon is a unique experience for both young and old. Maldon has an abundace of attractions ranging from gold mines, art galleries, a working steam train (weekends) shops, cafes and pubs...and a very friendly, welcoming local community. Maldon is 1hr 45 min from central Melbourne and only 1hr 20 min from Melbourne Airport. An easy drive straight up the Calder Highway (towards Bendigo) Maldon even has its own turn off from the Calder. Alternatively, you can access the town via the regional gem that is Castlemaine which is only about 12 minutes from Maldon. The cottage is equipped with a quality Ilve stove top/oven along with sufficient pots/pans and utensils. A dishwasher is also installed. Also provided are Miele washer and dryer as well as ironing facilities

For mountain bikers, you can ride through our back paddocks directly onto La Larr Ba Gauwa Mountain bike park or it’s just 2km along the road to the trailhead.
